Beautiful One Bedroom AC Beach Cottage

This cottage was wonderful! Kitchen was well stocked with any needed cooking items, cozy, clean and the a/c was great (when needed). Super BBQ area with ample seating. Outdoor toys such as boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towel, etc were provided. We rented the upstairs unit which has a delightful balcony with table and chairs, perfect place for breakfast.Host was responsive to questions and we met the most delightful person staying in the other unit.The music of the birds, frogs, and geckos was wonderful! mahalo nui loa

Great facility. Very nicely appointed We had the top story one bedroom, but there was a downstairs and studio that could be combined for a multi-group stay (planning for next time!) There was not much of a view, but a lovely cove was steps away.!

Words can’t describe this beautiful jungle beach home ! Everything one could ask for - close to everything- beach at and of street and so quiet except in the evening when the frogs start singing ! The host was wonderful and good communication! I highly recommend this home for your Hilo stay !

It was a nice place to stay. Owner provided welcome gifts of fruit and complimentary coffee was greatly appreciated.

Clean, beautifully decorated and full of amenities. Close to town and beaches. We stayed in the upstairs one bedroom unit and we couldn’t be happier. The property was lush and tranquil. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather for the first couple of days during our visit but the large covered lanais (upstairs and the huge gazebo in the yard) allowed us to still be outside and enjoy the property. When hope to return to this lovely property.

Quiet location. Lovely property. Well stocked. Very clean. We hope to return and stay longer. We loved Hilo and all it has to offer.

This was a perfect little house for us. The location was great, and the host paid special attention to details to make us feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property!

We love this area Hilo and this cottage was absolutely perfect. A three minute stroll to the little beach and tidal pools. The cottage had everything we needed and a lovely balcony for meals. The barbecue area under the gazebo was really great. We cooked meals and ate down there and really enjoyed the yard. Claudia the host was great!!! She and the cottage made our vacation so stress free. We hope to return soon. And will recommend to friends.

The upstairs 1 bedroom was charming and cozy. Well equipped kitchen, extra bath towels, coolers.....everything we needed for our stay. We visited many places, both north and south from here - easy drives. We even went to the east coast for snorkeling with the manta rays. Long but easy, scenic drive. The beach area just down the street from the house is lovely. Very quiet except for the birds and frogs. Makes you feel like you're in a jungle!! We did notice the earplugs when we were leaving but we didn't need them. Owners were quick to respond both before check-in and after. Friendly too.

The one bedroom unit upstairs was more than pleasant and comfortable. Everything on the property was nicely done and maintained. The outdoor covered patio was a great space to hang out. The location was excellent as it was a short walk to a great beach spot. It exceeded my expectations, I would love to do it again!
