*New* Fall Special Ground-Floor Kaanapali Condo with Golf Views

We’ve stayed at The a Eldorado several times before but this was our first time in A100 & Vacasa host. I was a little worried but communication was great and anything we needed was provided with just a text. The front desk was superior and helpful and friendly at all times. Provided golf cart every time we called which was a lot! Chanelle & Joe were wonderful!

This property is spacious and was appeared as portrayed in the pictures. A few things disappointed us, however. The place was in serious need of some maintenance and upgrades. The living room couch was bad, the living room slider screen was ripped, letting bugs in if we opened it for fresh air, and the unit was short on some of the basic kitchen supplies we would expect (vegetable peeler, scraper, decent spatulas and a set of sharp knives that actually cut). Also, cutlery, dishes and glasses were in short supply for a unit that can supposedly accommodate 6 people. We often had to run the dishwasher to keep dishes in the cupboards even if we didn’t have a full load. The most inconvenient thing was the parking situation. Yes, there was parking nearby, but no dedicated space. If the near parking lot was full (and it was, about 50% of the time), it was quite a hike to another one. The large pool and recreation area was really nice, but the beach cabana didn’t do us much good, since it is still 15 minutes or so hauling gear to either Kahului or Black Rock for snorkeling. Will stay somewhere else next time.

All went well. We have stayed at A 100 for many years and really enjoy it. We are very disappointed in owners maintenance. The place is beautiful and everything we like. But, in all the years the livingroom drapes are literally junk and never have worked. The livingroom couch is old, dirty and simply junk. Spend a few and make the place what it should be. As I said we love the set up. The Eldorado mgt is very good and helpful. We look forward to more years at an "upgraded cared for place".

Nice condo. Great set up. There were just some odd rodent turds by the couch on the first day.

Everything was exactly as seen in the pictures. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Worked great for our family of 5. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

The home was perfect, clean and well organized. Enough towels, paper towels and ect. Thank you for a great stay! We loved to come again.

Great stay!!! Loved the A/C and the convenient walk to the beach! Loved the three pools and the gym!!! They had weights and cable option. The only downside is the living room tv has three remotes and only worked on day 1 maintenance never came to fix.

Loved the views, amenities, and walkability to everything.

The location borders on the golf course but is not susceptible to stray golf balls. Gorgeous views but can get warm on the outdoor deck in the afternoon - the sunshade helps. Location is at the edge of the property farthest from the cabanas and near the road but road noise wasn’t a factor. We used the complimentary shuttle service to get to the cabanas. There is a parking lot right beside the property but it was closed due to the roof repair project (just about completed). Couches were outdated and should be cleaned, but were comfortable. Beds and bedrooms were excellent, bathrooms were clean and laundry facilities good. It would be nice if the owners supplied a couple beach chairs, a beach umbrella and maybe some boogie boards. We rented chairs and an umbrella at the snorkel shop in the mall behind us. The only problem when we arrived was no dishwasher soap but a call to Vacasa solved that quickly. Buy a couple of freezer packs if you want to keep refreshments and food cool at beaches and pools. Overall, a great spot for the 6 of us (including 2 preteens)

This unit had everything we needed to have a good stay. There were beach towels, as well as a washer and dryer, which was really nice. The kitchen appliances worked well. Being on the first level, it was right on the green of the golf course and an easy walk to the pool and beach as well as restaurants in Whaler's Village. There were a few minor downsides to this unit that wouldn't prevent me from staying there again, but the electrical outlets of the bathroom didn't really work; the unit was close to the road, so it was a bit noisy from traffic from time to time; and we experienced tiny ants in the kitchen, but that might be more common to Hawaii because that happened at a different place we stayed another time. I really liked that the Maui Eldorado had three different pools, as well as some outdoor games like bocce and shuffleboard that made for fun activities to do on the property. It was also really nice that the Fairway Shops across the street had a general store and a coffee shop. We hope to be back!

Washer and dryer broken before our arrival. Management company of this property has no communication skills. Property needs basic maintenance. Drapes and blackout curtains were dirty and broken. Kitchen utensils need updating.
