The Space:

Guest Access:

The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.
The Neighborhood:
At this part of the West Maui coast, sunset can be the plan all by itself. For daytime exploring, Kahekili Beach Park has plenty of room to spread out, Black Rock Beach offers a well-known snorkeling stop near Ka'anapali, and Kapalua Beach is a scenic cove within four miles. The shared pool is useful when the family wants a swim without packing up again. Staying oceanfront here means a quick walk toward the water can be folded into breakfast, afternoon, or the end of the day.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's west side coastline. A rental car is recommended for reaching beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast. Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina-area destinations are a drive away, while nearby beaches are often just minutes from the complex. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though it can fill up at popular beaches and restaurants.

The room was plenty of space for our group. It has a great view. Most condos of this style don’t have ac, but this one has the benefit of actually getting enough ocean breeze to keep it cool enough on a warm day
We loved the location, the views were amazing and we were close to a lot of things. The condo was well equipped and super clean. Only downside was the pots and pans should be replaced, but if you’re not doing much cooking this won’t matter. I highly recommend this condo!
We loved our 2 week stay here. We were close to everything, the pool was great, and the turtles on the beach were amazing. I can’t say enough I’m how much we enjoyed staying here.
The ocean view, the pool, and the small beach to the right full of sea turtles were all amazing. That being said, there were quite a few things which made it so I’ll never stay here again. First off, the DVD player would open but not work on the TV which was no big deal. The downstairs shower wouldn’t work , only the tub, which made it a hassle with our older kids. There is no privacy with the master suit if you have someone sleeping on the pull-out bed. There are cockroaches that come out on occasion which wasn’t that big of a deal being that it’s a warm climate. There is no air conditioning, only fans which also wasn’t that big of a deal. There was a nasty stain on left upper side of the comforter and it looked like the comforter hadn’t been washed in a while. However, what topped it all off was what happened to us on our last night there. About 5 minutes after we went to bed and turned all the lights off, my wife and I started feeling bugs in us. I turned the light on only to discover that our entire bed was plastered, literally, with tiny winged worms that lost their wings when you touched them. It was as if a whole swarm just decided to flop right down on the bed. I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life. We had all the windows and doors closed at the time too. I have no idea where they came from. Since there was no vacuum, my wife and I hade to hand pick all of these little worms off the bed, put them in a trash can, and sweep all the wings they dropped off if the bed. It took probably 45 minutes to clean them all off the bed. We couldn’t see them anywhere else in the house.
We loved staying at this condo! The views were to die for - beautiful grounds, countless sea turtles on the beach, we were even able to see whales while sitting at the pool. The beach at the condo is too rocky for swimming but we all enjoyed walking along the shoreline and seeing crabs and other marine life in the tide pools. There are nice beaches close by for swimming/snorkeling but be careful of the rocks! If you aren’t a snorkeler I would recommend water shoes- our kids all cut up their feet within minutes of getting in the water. Napili Beach is only a couple miles away and was by far our favorite, but get there early as parking is limited. Lots of tropical fish in the rocky areas but also lots of sandy beach space. I even had a sea turtle that came by to swim with me! After a long day in the sun it was so nice to come back to our quiet condo to relax and watch the sunset. The condo had everything we needed and enough space to spread out. We would absolutely stay here again!
Out of the way of the hustle and bustle! Short drive to everything you want. Kids loved the pool and seeing the turtles. Great place for any type of group.
We had a wonderful time at the Mahina Surf!! The condo is somewhat worn out (carpet on stairs dirty, entry way a little dingy, hide-a-bed uncomfortable), but the location makes up for it! I can’t imagine a more beautiful view. My ten-year-old son made it a necessity every dawn and evening to go count the turtles. We planned on reading on the balcony, but the view was so pretty, we couldn’t concentrate. The pool is amazing and hardly ever busy. The manager was great because when the toaster was throwing sparks, the same day we had a new one. The master bed was quite comfortable, and the ocean breeze kept the condo cool while we were there. All in all, it was an great experience!

Home was very clean and up to date. Furniture and amenities absolutely perfect. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
