Maui Resort Rentals is proud to present this stunning residence at the iconic Whaler resort on Kaanapali Beach, newly launched on April 24th, 2026, and now accepting bookings for stays beginning May 4th, 2026!
Whaler 823 is a beautifully remodeled 2BR/2BA corner suite offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the lush West Maui Mountains. With an expansive 1400 sq ft of interior living space, there’s plenty of room for your group to gather and unwind. Step outside to the massive 500 sq ft wraparound lanai, one of the largest on Kaanapali Beach, and soak in the best of Maui’s outdoor beauty.
LIVING & DINING AREAS:
The open-concept living and dining area features two convertible sleeper sofas, a flatscreen TV, and sliding glass doors that open to the lanai, along with a dining table for four and barstool seating for three at the kitchen island.

The upgraded kitchen features granite countertops, custom cabinetry, a wine cooler, and high-end appliances, including a Sub-Zero paneled refrigerator, Wolf range with hood, microwave, oven, and a paneled dishwasher.
OUTDOOR SPACES:
The wraparound lanai offers sweeping Pacific Ocean and West Maui Mountain views, with a sun lounger, bistro seating for two, and an outdoor dining table for six, perfect for enjoying meals and sunsets in the open air.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests will enjoy exclusive access to Whaler 823, including all interior spaces of the 2BR/2BA residence and the private wraparound lanai. Guests will also have full access to The Whaler resort amenities.

Nestled right in the heart of Kaʻanapali Beach, steps from soft sands and pristine waters, The Whaler boasts one of Maui’s best resort locations. This world-famous beach offers an abundance of shopping, dining, and activities right at your doorstep. Luaus, dinner cruises, snorkel trips, parasailing (summer only), whale watching (winter only), surf lessons, and more are only a short walk away.
Lounge by the sparkling beachfront pool and hot tub or take a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. A beachside towel desk can assist with gear rentals for snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and more. Additionally, enjoy a game at one of the tennis or pickleball courts or a workout in the fully equipped fitness center.
The Whaler even has a private entry directly from the resort to Whalers Village, a beachfront mall offering unique boutique and high-end stores in addition to an array of dining options ranging from grab-and-go to fine dining with sweeping ocean views.

This condo is very high end. Had everything we needed. Felt like home. Was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Huge rooms and loved the corner lanai!
Beautiful condo with amazing ocean and upcountry views
Great location in the complex. Wonderful views of the ocean, mountains, beautiful koi ponds and sunsets. Lots of sun and shade on the decks. Extra refrigerator drawers are an amazing bonus. Condo is comfortable and spacious. The second bathroom is more spacious than most 2 bedrooms in complex due to good renovation choices. Beds and bedding are very comfortable but can’t speak to the pullouts since we didn’t use them. Well stocked condo (amazing that they have 2 umbrellas and just note that one has a better frame for wind so if you don’t need both use that one for sure). Owner and property management were excellent to deal with.
The location of The Whaler is ideal and steps away from the beach, restaurants, shopping and a short walk or drive to any activity you'd be interested in on Maui. The property was beautiful and the accommodations in the condo were high end and made us feel like we were in a home away from home. Words can't express how spectacular the views are from the lanai. We enjoyed the sunrise over the mountains and the sunset over the ocean. Page was friendly and welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be returning and recommending to others!

The Whaler is our FAVORITE place to stay in Maui! The location is perfect--it is close to everything, but it never feels crowded. Only a few steps from Whaler's Village in one direction and Black Rock in the other direction. The pool and hot tub offer a great break from the beach, easy access to amenities including towel pickup and dropoff, beach chairs and a fitness room. This 2 bedroom condo is perfect for families--everyone has room to move, plus laundry to dry wet suits, wash your daughter's favorite sweatshirt, etc. The kitchen is well stocked! I appreciated the little things too, including ziplock bags and coffee filters. Eating in Maui is expensive so it helps to be able to make breakfast and lunch most days. There are large community grills on the main floor. We saw plenty of people grilling while laughing and sharing a Mai Tai. The condo also has plenty of books to read by the beach, and board games to play when you need a break from the sun. The sensor stopped working on one of the AC controllers, but the property manager had it fixed within a few hours. What more could you ask for?!? Thank you for hosting us Page! We hope to be back!
As so many reviews have already stated, the condo is wonderfully equipped and furnished, and enjoys gorgeous views towards both the mountains (which ended up being my favorite view, surprisingly) and the ocean. Page, the owner and host, was responsive, helpful, and friendly -- just a pleasure to deal with, especially when we were concerned about what the area would be like to visit after the Lahaina fire. You won't find a nicer home away from home in Kaanapali.
Beautiful condo, Luxurious. Incredible views of both the mountainside and ocean. We watched the whales from the Lanai every day. Amazing sunsets. Furnishings are gorgeous and owner spared no expense. The kitchen? Wow! All high-end appliances, and stocked with everything you need. Page, the owner of the property, is always available and communicated with us from the time of booking, to arrival, etc. I have stayed at the Whaler 10+ times. This was, by far, the BEST unit (and I have stayed in other fabulous 2-bedroom units. Thank you Page!
The unit was better than advertised. SO MUCH natural light! Beautiful views. And the space is LARGE. We have a family of 5 and felt like we could have stayed a month. Page was great to work with as well.
