Each ride lasts between 60–90 minutes, giving you time to connect with your gentle, beginner-friendly horse and soak in the peaceful beauty of Hawai’i at dusk. Saddlebags are provided for your convenience — just bring your sense of adventure.

Itinerary

1. Check-in 30 Minutes prior to the start of the ride

2. Staff will ask you to sign a safety waiver (Keiki must be signed for by a parent or guardian)

3. Select a helmet that fits snug on your head.

4. Grab a saddle bag for your phone!

5. About a few minutes before the start of the ride, we will begin a short safety demo

6. After the demo is completed, we will start loading guests on their pre-assigned horses!

7. After your group has been loaded, the guide will mount and guide everyone out for their beautiful and momentous trail ride!

8. Horses might stop on the way out to relieve themselves. Do not worry, your guide will stop and ensure everyone is not left behind!

9. Sit back and relax and enjoy your ride!

10. At the end of the trail, your guide will stop to take pictures. This is the perfect time to grab a special memorable photo to remember this special adventure.

Meeting & Logistics

Use Google/Apple Maps → At Umena St. gate enter #9559. Drive 3 miles uphill following green/white horse signs. At 1st fork go LEFT. 2nd fork, go left to Camp Pālehua. Follow dirt road pass yellow dumpsters, through 2 gates, and park in dirt lot, check in at white tent.
