Join us and unearth the history of the warriors that still walk these ancient paths.
Itinerary
- Learn the intriguing history of how the Hawaiian Islands were unified under one king, and why there are actually four versions of this statue. (8 mins)
- Discover the history of the only royal palace located in the United States. (7 mins)
- Hear the stories of how the barracks were taken apart one by one, moved, then rebuilt. (8 mins)
- Guests will learn the stories of the many coronations and inaugurations that have been held here at the Palace Gazebo. (7 mins)
- The King Kalakaua Building was initially build to house US Federal Offices. Hear how the use of the building has changed. (8 mins)
- The Ali'i 'Lolani Hale (Supreme Court Building) holds many years of history. The commissioner of the building, Kamehameha V, passed before the building was complete. (7 mins)
- The Kawaiha'o Church is the oldest Christian church in Oahu. Guests will hear the stories of its completion which is as early as 1842. (8 mins)
- Learn the history that surrounds the Hawaiian Mission Houses and hands of the Protestant missionaries from Boston that built it. (7 mins)
