Overview
In our hand-building ceramic class, you’ll learn how to shape a simple block of clay into a functional, beautiful coffee mug/bowl—an object you’ll actually use and treasure. The process is both relaxing and rewarding: from forming the body, to attaching the handle, to adding your own textures and personal touches. It’s a tactile, expressive journey that requires no prior experience—just curiosity and a willingness to try. The workshop is led by a friendly and experienced ceramic artist who will guide you every step of the way. Whether you're a visitor wanting a meaningful souvenir from Honolulu, this class offers the perfect opportunity. Your cup will then be fired and glazed for you with the color of your choice. We’ll notify you when your piece is ready to be picked up. You can choose to take it yourself or have it shipped for an additional cost after the session (Domestic via USPS or UPS for $18 USD). Come discover the joy of making something truly your own with a touch of Aloha!

Never tried working with clay? This is your perfect chance while on vacation! Come join us for a fun, small group (max 6 people) and relaxing morning. Each class lasts 2 hours and is open to all ages and skill levels. Our friendly instructor will guide you through each step of the process—from shaping your mug and attaching handles to adding personal touches and textures.
