Itinerary
- We kick off the adventure on the rugged East Coast. Lanai Lookout offers complex lava rock formations that look like a different planet. On a clear day, you can see the islands of Molokai, Lanai, and Maui. Just around the corner, we’ll visit the famous Halona Blowhole, where ocean geysers shoot into the air—a favorite filming location for Hollywood movies. (30 mins)
- Next, we cruise to the easternmost tip of Oahu. You’ll get a stunning view of the Makapu’u Lighthouse perched on the cliffside and the iconic "Rabbit Island" (Manana Island) sitting in the turquoise water. This is a prime spot for spotting whales during the winter season (Dec–April). (30 mins)
- Travel through the lush windward side to one of the most Instagram-famous spots in Hawaii. "Ho’omaluhia" means "to make a place of peace and tranquility." We will drive you into the heart of the garden for the iconic shot of the palm-lined road leading directly into the majestic, jagged Ko'olau mountain range. It feels like stepping into Jurassic Park. - Hidden at the foot of the mountains is this stunning, non-denominational Buddhist temple. It is a smaller-scale replica of a 900-year-old temple in Uji, Japan. The contrast of the bright red architecture against the emerald green cliffs is breathtaking. You can ring the sacred peace bell, view the golden Buddha, and watch the peacocks and koi fish roaming the grounds. (30 mins)
- We continue North to a jagged peninsula that juts out into the wild ocean. This spot is famous for the "Puka" (hole) in the offshore island and its legendary history. - Welcome to the surfing capital of the world! We will cruise past the luxury Turtle Bay Resort and stop at the world-famous Sunset Beach. In the winter, you can watch pros surf massive waves; in the summer, the waters are calm and crystal clear. - No circle tour is complete without a stop at the historic Dole Plantation. Learn briefly about Hawaii’s pineapple history and visit the Country Store.
