Overview
We have designed this tour to provide you with a very challenging and rewarding hike, followed by visits to some of our favorite local beaches. These beaches include a lookout over Makapu'u Beach and a visit to the legendary shorebreak beach, Sandy's! This is an active day along our guides' personal favorite part of the island. This is also one of our most popular excursions among our backpacker guests!
Itinerary
- This is a pretty challenging hike up 1077 stairs in which you will be rewarded with excellent views of all of the Southeast Portion of O'ahu! (120 mins)
- This will be our lunch stop for the day. There are plenty of options, such as plate lunches, acai bowls, poke bowls, shave ice, and others. (60 mins)
- This will be a relatively quick stop for pictures and an overview of the landscape provided by your guide. This is an absolutely stunning viewpoint. (30 mins)
- This will be a relatively quick stop designed to let the guests experience what a real local beach looks like. This beach is known for large, dangerous shorebreak waves that break directly onto the shoreline. It is famous for expert bodyboarding and bodysurfing. (60 mins)

Meeting & Logistics
You should see a covered carport area with a sign that reads "Beach Waikiki Boutique". You should also see a van and a group of people waiting, excited for their day!
