Overview
UPDATE February 2025- Diamond Head is only open half day Monday through Friday due to construction projects, This will continue until July 24th, 2025. Aloha active travelers, here is your Professionally guided experience. Ride and hike to the top of Hawaii's most photographed landmark. Experience the history of this WWI iconic landmark. After the hike, we head down to a delicious local lunch at the base of Diamond Head. Bikes are 7-speed city bikes, including a safety helmet, sunscreen, water/electrolyte drink mix, and snacks. We start this tour @ 7:00 am to avoid the crowds and summer heat. Completed before noon. This activity tour is not for a non-active person. Includes hill climbing on the bike, and hiking 1 mile to the top of Diamond Head crater with warm to hot conditions in the summer months.

Itinerary
- King David Kalakaua opened the zoo in 1877 as a gift to the people of Hawaii. (3 mins)
- We visit the largest state park in Hawaii with informative narration. Named after the beloved Queen Kapiolani.
- We visit this secret beach nestled at the base of Diamond Head. This beach has green sand crystal (Olivine's crystal) which is the primary reason this dormant volcanic mountain is called Diamond head. (5 mins)
- We view the Doris Duke Shangri La estate from Diamond head lookout with informative narration about Doris and her amazing life in Hawaii. (5 mins)
- We visit the Diamond head lookout where Amelia Erhart memorial stone is placed in recognition of this early aviator's accomplishments. (5 mins)
- We enter the Diamond Head crater via a tunnel, We have to stop at the entry booth to show the QR code for park entry. Guest must book this entry before the tour date, link enclosed https://gostateparks.hawaii.gov/diamondhead (90 mins)

- Important UPDATE: May 12th 2022. All guests must register with the Hawaii State Parks, Payment is $5 for each person. Register for 9:00 am to 10:00 am to visit the park. QR code is emailed to you, $5,00 each person.
- Any time of day booking will allow us to get in Diamond Head Hawaii State Parks, when we arrive. 9 am approx..
