There are many reasons why someone would request a private lesson: (A) He/she is not comfortable in the water, (B) He/she took a lesson before and wants to go for bigger waves, (C) He/she wants the focus of the instructor and does not want to wait for other people to catch a wave before his/her next wave

Learn to surf with a local guide! Born and raised on the island, Shane provides a personalized experience in a 1.75 hour surf experience for kids and families. You will see the underwater secrets of world-famous Waikiki Beach and have an active water adventure with life-long surfers. KIDS SURFING ACCOMMODATIONS
Kids surf lesson can be on the same board as the instructor if they are not confident to go on their own board.
Available upon request at no extra charge:
-Life jackets
-Snorkel and masks to explore the reef and look for turtles and fish.
-Tandem board (2-person board) for child + instructor. An additional board for solo surfing can be made available when child is comfortable without instructor.
