Work with Native Reforestation and Polynesian Agriculture in Maui

Overview

Our tours at Kipuka Olowalu connect you to a real local organization dedicated to conserving native Hawaiian plants, cultivating and preserving Polynesian introduced food crops, and perpetuating Native Hawaiian culture for future generations.

We have an established relationship with Kipuka Olowalu and are very lucky to be able to welcome guests onto their property.

During this unique experience, we will spend 1.5 hours involved in a hands-on activity which may include working in the loʻi, helping to manage the native forest restoration project or other work related to native plants or Polynesian agriculture.
