Aloha Kayaks Maui is a LOCALLY owned and operated company. We are a community minded company with a focus on conservation and ocean stewardship. You will be guided by the most experienced guides in the industry. All tours focus on Hawaiian Culture, History, Language, and of course ocean ecology. Itinerary
7:15 am meet your guide at the designated Makena Landing meet point. All waiver documents, gear issued, and on-land safety briefings are required prior to entering the ocean.
Before we hit the water, we’ll start with a brief land tutorial including the basics of kayaking, pointers on paddling technique, rules and regulations, and a rough plan for the morning.
Your guide will assist with launching your kayak. Once all kayaks are afloat, time to paddle! Your guide will strategically locate a sandy spot on the floor of the ocean to safely set an anchor. To exit the kayak, simply slide off the side of your boat and become one with the ocean. Witness her beautiful fish, splendid corals, and Hawaiian Green sea turtles
