My name is Kai Funes Smith, I am a 5 star rating tour driver on the island Maui. What makes my tour unique is I am the only Hana local who does these Hana tours. (Born in Hana, raised in Hana & lives in Hana)
You are getting the real deal! My family is 80% of Hana Town, I have been driving the road to Hana all my life. Stories, history and culture is what I was taught being raised in the town of Hana.

Hana is a must see when traveling to the island of Maui. You will see some of the most beautiful landscapes, lava volcanic cliffs, beaches and mountain streams. One of our highlighted stops will be the Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach! A must see while visiting Hana.

Itinerary
- Famous Surfing Beach & look out. Beautiful ocean and Mountain View’s. Famous surfers from all around the world come and participate in competitions at Hookipa. (20 mins)
- Great look out/forest reserve & bathroom facilities. Overlook the entire Ko’olau ridge and be able to see different tropical flowers and landscape (15 mins)
- Lava volcanic rocks/ocean & beaches/Aunty Sandy’s famous banana bread. Everyone from all over the world travel the Hana Highway to have a taste of Aunty Sandy’s Banana Bread. It’s a must try! (60 mins)
- Cold fresh water streams/waterfalls/ park & hiking trail. If you would like to jump in, we have a time relax before heading back out to town. Bring your swim wear and towels. (30 mins)
- Hana Town/Stores/Hana Resort/Souvenirs/Lunch Stop Hana is the heart of Maui. And Hana is known for its hard working people and aloha. (60 mins)
- Famous white sand beach/surfing/swimming This is one of Mauis top rated beaches. Clear blue ocean and white sand will be picture perfect on a beautiful sunny day. (60 mins)
- Hana’s main attraction and a must see! Black Sand Beach/Lava Caves/ Hiking trails along the coast/blowhole/ rabbit ears/ swimming & bathroom facilities Swimming is allowed only if the weather is nice and ocean isn’t rough. Lots to see here and one of Hanas main attractions! (180 mins)
