Birdwatching at Maui Bird House is a dynamic experience for both seasoned birders and beginners alike. Our workshop blends education with the fun of being outdoors. Listen to the beautiful chorus of Maui's birds and see how many birds live amongst the trees at our property. Participants enjoy stunning bi-coastal views views of the Pacific Ocean and neighboring islands: Lanai, Molokai, Kaho‘olawe and Molokini Crater. Turn around and you will see Haleakala National Park and the observatory. Enjoy delicious organic, farm to table snacks and beverages while you participate in birdwatching from two bird viewing stations. This will be a birdwatching experience you will be sure to enjoy.
Itinerary
Reconnect with nature. Experience dynamic and engaging birdwatching in nature at our private country retreat in Maui, minutes from Haleakala National Park and Poli Poli State Park. Enjoy birding from multiple sites at our retreat while you feast your eyes on some of the best views on Maui. Listen to bird songs, gaze upon bird interactions and watch a story unfold. Arrive at our retreat space and enjoy a one-hour dynamic birding workshop. The workshop includes an educational presentation about birding on Maui followed by birding at two locations on the property. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Gluten Free options available. Lunch is available for an additional fee. Please inquire about lunch while booking.
