As the North Shore’s very first surf school, this team has set the standard for fun, safe, and effective surf instruction. Lessons at Hanalei Bay are perfect for beginners or families who want to experience the thrill of surfing in crystal-clear water that’s perfect for all ages and abilities.
Itinerary
Your lesson begins at 5-5134 Kuhio Highway, Hanalei, Hawaii 96714. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled lesson time—so, for an 8:30 am start, check in at 8:00 am.
From the moment you meet your expert instructor, you’ll get personalized coaching that helps you feel confident and excited to hit the waves. You’ll learn ocean safety, basic paddling techniques, and the secrets to catching your first ride standing up. With gentle, consistent waves, Hanalei Bay is an ideal spot for beginners and advanced beginners alike. By the end of your experience, you’ll have the skills to enjoy surfing anywhere, and a huge sense of accomplishment.
