Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!
Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

Itinerary
Guarantee Sightings. If there are no sightings, we do not offer refunds but we do offer a FREE RERIDE. *If you are purchasing a NOT SNORKELING ticket please be advised that there is no guarantee of seeing manta rays from the boat.
With check-in time, boat travel, and water time: Total time is around 1.2 hours. (25-30 of that is water time).
We operate a smaller boat; a 23 foot RHIB (Zodiac style) boat and take 11 passengers.
Tour duration from departure to return is about 50 minutes in length which includes 25-30 minutes of water time.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Casual Use Life Jackets are not provided unless 13 years of age and under.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.
-Wetsuits are optional and available to rent at check-in.
-Please do not bring valuables as we do not have an office and you will need to keep your belongings in your own vehicle.
-Tour times are subject to change.
-Ocean conditions can change without notice; choppy ocean conditions may occur.

IMPORTANT

Please read this entire message carefully. It contains essential information to ensure a smooth and safe experience. Missing any key details may result in missed tours, and no refunds will be issued for late arrivals.
✅ CHECK-IN DETAILS:
Arrive 20 minutes before your tour.
We are set up right next to the KONA OUTRIGGER HOTEL SIGN.
Please keep in mind that our crew may be out on a tour before you, please hang tight and our crew will be there to get you as soon as they return. (on rare occasions tours may be running a little late)
KEAUHOU HARBOR ADDRESS:: 78-7100 Kaleiopapa St, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
Free street parking: Do not park in trailer stalls or you may be towed.
After check-in, proceed to the boat ramp and wait directly under the light pole. There will be no staff at the harbor when you arrive, as our crew will be on the water with an earlier group. Please wait at the light pole until the crew returns and calls your name.
TOUR TIMING & DELAY POLICY
Tour durations are estimates. Delays can happen due to:
Weather, Boat traffic, Mechanical issues, Guest minimums, & Other unforeseen factors.
Your tour may be delayed or moved up to an hour earlier or later.
No refunds for delays or rescheduling.
➡️ Please do not schedule anything else within 1 hour before or after your tour.
⚠️ GUEST REQUIREMENTS
For your safety, you must:
Know how to swim and tread water independently
Be physically able to climb a boat ladder
Weigh under 300 lbs
Have no existing or prior medical conditions, including but not limited to:
Heart conditions
Lung conditions
And any other conditions that may affect your ability to swim/breathe.

- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
