This is a 7-7.5 Hour tour we guarantee to get you back on the Ship on time. Children under 8 must be in proper child seats. We do not pick up at the Hilo airport.
Itinerary
- This National Park is over 500 square miles and is a UNESCO Heritage Site. (180 mins)
- Walk through a verdant rainforest and experience a ancient lava tube. (30 mins)
- There is a lot to see on this road. We keep your tour action packed and we don't take you through endless lava flows that are the same eruption. (30 mins)
- Get a black of rainwater that has been super heated under the rocks. (15 mins)
- The site of most of the eruptions that have taken place since 2018. Hopefully on your day you will be able to see lava! (30 mins)
- The most famous black sand beach and possibly turtles, this black sand beach is a serious time commitment because we have to drive you out of the National Park through the Kau Desert, there is very little to see. Most people would rather see a black sand beach and see more of the National Park, this is totally your choice. (90 mins)
- Brief stop to see the famous Rainbow Falls (15 mins)
