My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks this summer. First, we had an amazing time! The condo is large, well maintained, clean, stocked with plenty of beach and pooand the location and view are incredible! Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the lanai with a beautiful ocean view! Doesn't get much better!Joanne, the owner is also great!. She is very easy to communicate with, and very understanding and accomodating. I would highly recommend staying in this unit when visiting Kailua Kona, and will definitely be coming back!
Great rental. Had everything we needed for a week on the beach with 2 teens. Cooler, boogie boards, beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear. Pickleball court was a fun bonus. Very clean!
The condo was perfect for our week and a half stay! Right across from Magic Sands Beach. The condo had beach chairs, an umbrella, and some toys that were perfect for our stay. Joanne was very helpful with any questions I had for our stay. I would definitely stay here again!
We arrived to a spotlessly clean condo with all the conveniences of home. We love the large lanai which is perfect for watching the ocean waves or the beautiful sunsets. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was appreciated - comfy beach chairs, coolers, even snorkel gear. We have stayed in this condo twice and we are planning to return again. Thank you for letting me purchase a new coffee pot and refunding me.
This rental was perfect for our family of four. 3rd floor unit offers excellent views of both the pool area and beach/ocean. Spacious, well laid out and well-appointed with everything you need from making meals to going to the beach. Joanne went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. Good showers and beds. 4 miles south of Kona and easy access to highway bypassing Kona for those days you go off exploring. If you're an early riser, there are dedicated walking/ biking lanes on both sides of Ali'i drive with plenty of other beaches and shoreline accesses within walking distance to discover. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic accommodations for the island life. They had everything you need for nearly any activity on the beach. With a central location to everything on the western coast of the big island. Highly recommend!
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us. Nice to have a washer and dryer. Across the road is White Sand Beach. Need to have a vehicle.

The location of the condo is just perfect, not too far but far enough from the "touristy' side of this island! We liked that our door was close to the elevator to make unloading easier. It was great to have a beach across the street and a pool in the middle of the property.
The condo was well stocked and having a washer and dryer was super helpful! We also appreciated the new walk-in shower! We look forward to booking at this location in the future!

This was a very comfortable home base for my family of 4. It was great to be right across the street from the beach and a short drive to lots of touristy activities. The host was very communicative to make sure we were ready to have a wonderful visit. We were happy to use their beach supplies and the laundry facilities. I hope we get to return!

The condo was roomy and in a great location, had a beautiful view, and was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The pool and BBQ area downstairs was clean, well equipped, and never crowded. Magic Sands beach, just a few steps away, was beautiful! The construction of new facilities there had just been completed. This beach does have some big waves at times so requires some ocean savyness, but the lifeguards that are on duty all day do a great job of watching everyone and reminding everyone to stay safe. Also just steps away is an oceanside restaurant, a fantastic shave ice truck and the bus stop for the Kona Trolley. So convenient! You literally do not need to leave. I was surprised that although the condo was close enough to Ali'i drive to potentially hear road noise at night, there was virtually none. We heard only the ocean! If I had one complaint it would be for the master bedroom mattress. It could use updating—it is not uncomfortable, just extremely jiggly, which made for some unnecessary bickering at various points in the night when one or another bed occupant moved ever so slightly. However, by the end of the trip we had become accustomed. Overall, the condo was absolutely fantastic!
This condo was wonderful! We loved being right across from a beautiful beach and having beach chairs, various sizes of coolers to pack up and go with.The beds were very comfortable and kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils etc. Having 2 bathrooms was great for us all to get ready for another adventure! Great pool, hot tub, and sauna at the complex! Owners were great at communicating and we enjoyed the bottle of wine left for us. We definitely enjoyed everything about this property and would highly recommend staying here!

A scrupulously clean condo directly across the street from one of the rare sand beaches in the area. On Kona's "main drag" (Ali'i Drive), but not right in the middle of the touristy chaos. Lovely lanai accessible from both the living room and the main bedroom, with a glorious view of beach sunsets. Closet full of anything one would want for a beach or pool day: floats, boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, coolers. So nice to not have to pack those items!
The owners were extremely kind and lovely to work with, as well as gracious about accommodating my partner's need for some extra checkout time (he had become ill during our trip). I recommend this location unequivocally!
We loved our stay at Joanne and Randy's condo! It truly was a home away from home and provided everything we could possibly have needed or thought of. We've stayed at the White Sands Village on previous trips and have always enjoyed the property, but this condo was definitely one of our favorites! The convenient location to the elevator and parking spot was incredibly helpful for our group. The beds and other pieces of furniture were very comfortable. The lanai was our favorite spot and was used a lot for early morning breakfast and provided the perfect view for nightly sunset photos! The hosts were very communicative and always ready with answers or helpful info when needed. We couldn't have asked for a better trip and will absolutely look into booking here again in the future! All amenities that one would expect were provided and things you also my have not have expected. They were beach chairs and boogie boards and coolers. I think the was snorkel gear also but we had our own and did not use theirs. The washer and dryer were a big plus (laundry detergent was provided also). Wi-Fi was excellent. One hiccup with the TV/Cable (The system seemed to reset and took about 10 minutes to work after that. But who goes to Hawaii to watch TV anyways.
The host checked in with us via telephone the second day to make sure everything was satisfactory.

But that is largely because Joanne communicated thoroughly and warmly, and made us feel like it was our Hawaii home-away-from-home. We even enjoys sunset views with a nice bottle of Chardonnay that was left for us. Hoping to return someday!

This condo was nice and very clean!
Pros: clean, roomy, nice floor plan, great pool and facilities, good communication from owner, parking, excellent A/C for sleeping, well stocked kitchen and beach gear, easy to locate
Cons: public beach across the street was very loud and crowded during the day which made being in the condo during the day not very relaxing; White Sands Beach parking lot was closed/under construction while we were there, so parking and traffic was heavy on Alii Drive.
Overall, this was a great condo in a really nice complex. If daytime noise doesn't bother you, it is a wonderful place to stay.
We had the best vacation in Kona! We were so sad to be leaving, but know we will be back! All the amenities within Joanne and Randy’s condo was so helpful and useful to us! It truly is a home away from home. We flew into the island when there was a projected tropical storm that would hit that next day. We felt loved and taken care of! One of the shower doors wasn’t sliding and Joanne immediately called a handyman to fix it for us. Ours kids, who are 8 and 5 could not stop saying “Wow!” when we went into the home. To this day, now that we’re back home they still talk about Kona. What a memorable vacation, thank you for sharing your home with us! We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Wow, where to start! We had a bit of trouble finding it because it was dark, but it was worth any angst. It’s close to the airport, close to restaurants, shops, activities, and the beach! The view from the lanai and the front entrance are wonderful, in fact, we even saw a couple of whales from the lanai. As far as the lanai, it is such a delightful sanctuary, complete with table, longe chairs, couch, and drying rack without feeling crowded!
The condo itself was spotlessly clean, in fact the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever rented. It is tastefully decorated and the BEST equipped kitchen possible. It had everything from coffee grinder to water filter pitcher in fridge..
There were plenty of towels, including beach towels, along with plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc.
