Amazing condo! Has everything we needed. Great location.
Condo is older and could use a deep cleaning and new furniture.
We have stayed at the Honua Kai multiple times and it is always hard to leave. This unit is nice for the price, but the sofa bed only comfortably fits one person so we bought a blow up mattress for the 4th person in the unit.
Just as expected. Was spring break so pool was very crowded and towel machine wasn’t always working, but other than that was great!
The suite on Hona Kai resort was perfect. Thank you you too.
Loved the location! Great vacation
We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and everything in working order. The unit does have directions that ask to keep the temp at 74. I usually prefer cooler sleeping weather, but with the fans provided in the unit, it was okay. The pool area is very nice, but could benefit from more chairs. It was very difficult to find a spot in the mid afternoon.
We loved our stay! The pools were super fun and the beach was amazing. The apartment came stocked with beach chairs and umbrella which were necessary at the beach. The location can't be beat! The general property could use an update, but inside the unit itself was very nice, it could use some updated outdoor furniture but that didn't stop us from using the balcony to have our morning coffee. We will be back and be bringing our kids! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
The resort is fantastic and so is the location. The unit is spacious and well equipped. It could use a little updating but it’s still comfortable.
The VRBO refund policy is far too strict! 60 days prior to arrival! So much can happen between that time. There was no understanding of moving my dates or canceling. TVs were very small and difficult to operate. Furniture on lani was over crowded.
We enjoyed our stay at this one bedroom condo. The Property was clean and well appointed with what we need to enjoy our vaccination on Maui. The Property management was great to work with. This would make a nice place for anyone looking to stay on the westside of Maui. It’s on the quiet outside of the property, but Dukes and the pools are very nice to spend time at and the grounds are beautiful. Great place for couples or a family!

We frequently visit honua kai resort so we have seen multiple units. This unit was okay. Far from the cleanest I’ve stayed in, dust all over and floors so dirt that are socks were all stained black. Most definitely needs some simple interior paint on trims and doors. I personally wouldn’t stay in this unit again unless it was deep cleaned.

This condo exceeded our expectations! Clean, nicely furnished, great kitchen, and fabulous location. Has everything needed to enjoy relaxing on the beach (chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler). The resort is beautiful with great pools and plenty of lounge chairs. Walked to the food trucks and very short drive to the grocery store.Easy process to access the room, we did valet parking which was quick and easy, and excellent communication with the host. Would not hesitate to stay here again!
The property overall was excellent. The condo has been updated and the look and feel was modern. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Ample bedding and towels for our 10 day stay. Also nice extras such as a cooler was available.
We arrived right prior too and over the chaos of the Covid19 outbreak.
