Had a great at time at the temporary home. The place has a great view of the beach and sunset. It was nice to have an exclusive portion of beach. Each day we went to the beach we saw turtle(s) slowly making their way toward the retaining wall and steps. Kitchen was well stocked which utensils, plates, bowls, cookware and all major appliances.
Great location. Condo has everything you need. Close to golf course and grocery stores. Nice private beach for swimming.
My husband and I decided to return to Hale Mahina to celebrate our milestone birthdays, however opted for a higher level this time in order to take full advantage of whale watching from the lanai.
The unit was exactly as described and well equipped with all of the necessary amenities. Greg and Vonda were very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival, with no contact necessary during our stay in paradise.
The property was amazing and in a great location. This is our 2nd time staying at this property. Would highly recommend it. Every day was a turtle day.
Love these condos! Located on a small private property with beach access. Condo was very nice and clean when we arrived, well stocked, great refrigerator and kitchen, comfortable bed and furniture, and a perfect view of the ocean. Also, even though there is no AC, there are plenty of fans and the breeze from the ocean. This was our first time in March, and loved the whale sightings each day, along with daily turtles as well. Greg and Vonda were very easy to communicate with and helpful throughout the entire process. Had a wonderful time!

I think we found a little piece of heaven. Great condo right on the ocean. The condo itself was clean, well equipped. The owners were responsive and helpful. But what made the place was the location, right on the beach with great snorkeling, whale watching etc.
Pictures on VRBO are accurate, kitchen fully stocked, being an end unit the tradewinds kept the unit cool ( no A/C). Watched whales from lanai, also had turtles on beach several days. Only negative not a lot of beach if you like to walk, however food trucks, stores, other beach areas all within walking distance. Owners were very responsive when a couple of issues came up, immediately took care of them. Enjoyed our stay.
We had NO idea that this condo had no a.c.
When we arrived l almost started crying because we had a very warm twelve day vacation to get through with no a.c. & high humidity. Also the only bed was queen size.
The couch in the living room needed updating as it is quite uncomfortable.
The kitchen and bath were updated & very nice, but the rest of the condo needs updating. Way to many outdated decorative items that cluttered up the rooms collecting dust that made me sneeze a lot.
I'm sorry today all this, but the truth is the truth. As for location & on site amenities, we loved it. The view from the balcony was spectacular & the beach & pool were perfect.

The condo was clean and definitely had the updated feel - the furniture and the decor was a bit dated but was fitting of a beach front condo in Maui. We overlooked the lack of AC in the unit - but again the unit was equipped with tons of fans. You’ll need them. We set up at least 2 in each room, even the bathroom. The unit has a washer and dryer which were also useful. The unit does not have any beach equipment - so come prepared or plan to make a stop at Walmart or Target. The beach and pool were nice - short walk away - enjoyed the convenience of this. The host was responsive but his responses were often delayed. Overall it was a nice condo - no real issues - we would stay here again.
