We were pleased with the easy process from the initial reservation through check-in/check-out. The condo and location of the condo were nice. However, the furniture and appliances (washer/dryer, TVs, specifically) were quite old/dated. The condo was pretty clean .. however, when we used a few of the dishes, we saw that they were not cleaned/washed and we had to make sure to pre-wash any dishes prior to use. We also had a run-in with a few roaches during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Grand Champions and would consider staying there again ... just not sure if we would specifically stay in 129 again.

Loved this condo! Clean, comfortable, great location. It was awesome to do a day at the beach and then come back to spend the late afternoon hanging out at the pool.

I can't recommend this unit. We stayed less than 24 hours due to roaches and notified CBIV within 12 hours of arrival. Roaches were pouring out of the outlets in the kitchen. Roach feces on the counter. Management told us the unit was recently sprayed and that is why they were coming out like this. I feel they should have told us prior to arrival and refunded all our money. They offered to move us but then they had no available units. Ended up in a $$$ hotel for the remaining days of vacation. I come to Hawaii for a week every six months. I have used CBIV for many trips and they are usually great to work with. Never ever had an issue they didn't help with before. I have also stayed in other units at Grand Champions at least 4x prior. This was untenable. I do believe I should have been told prior about the roaches and offered a full refund.

Property description was accurate in regard to location, layout and amenities. We did not use the pools, but they were available to us and close tot the unit. The property had new flooring, fresh paint and all the kitchen necessities you might need. Washer and dryer were very handy to have use of. We really enjoyed the lanai with the view of tropical trees and vegetation, birdsongs, and even a view of the mountain to the north. The unit was very quiet and private and we slept very well each night. The management provided good communication via email. We did not need to contact them for anything although they gave us their contact info. I would recommend this property to friends. We really enjoyed a dinner at the nearby Monkeypod Kitchen. There are restaurants at the nearby outdoor mall that could also be walked to in about 15 minutes. Mostly, we drove down to Kihei for meals and did not use the kitchen to cook. We also recommend a place in Kihei called the Cinnamon Roll Place.
Property wasn't very clean. Lots of bugs everywhere including bedrooms. Perhaps because of recent rain and ground floor? Also lots of noise from neighbor above. Shower in master had mold and whole unit needs a thorough cleaning.
Lovely resort complex. The quiet pool and hot sauna were great. Apartment was nice.
Great condo for our family with 3 kiddos. The pool & jacuzzi were nice, the area was safe and in close driving or walking distance to excellent beaches, snorkeling, shopping and tennis courts (right next door to the tennis club & Wailea golf course). The condo was clean and spacious and had towels & chairs for the beach and a cooler to tote snacks in. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and was well laid out. Great safe & reasonably quiet location. Would stay in Wailea again for sure.
