Beautiful community. Unit was as advertised. Great beach, pool, and pavilion. Close to all the things to do in town. Easy access to all the other attractions on the island. Would stay again.
This was our 5th time in Ekahi and 1st time in this unit. It's one of our favorites now! Great location super close to pool.
The location is as convenient as you can get at Ekahi to the Pool and beach access. The Lanaii furniture is excellent and the bathrooms were clean and up-to-date. The towels were all new. Unfortunately, the kitchen counter did not have any grout left between tiles and so the counter was not very clean. The sofa- sleeper has mold on the mattress and the head of the bed is lower than the foot of the pullout, enough to make it not sleepable. The bedroom furniture was all fine. We loved the convenient location but we hope the condo gets some TLC and minor improvements soon!
We loved the proximity of this condo to the lower pool and ocean. It made transporting beach toys, towels, etc much much easier. Would stay there again!
Paradise! A little dated but very well kept and comfortable and very conveniently located. Very well stocked with towels, pool & beach items. Kitchen has everything you’ll need including even Tupperware and foil & plastic wrap. Would highly recommend and hopefully will be back!

The location was perfect. The rental property was a bit old and lacked a few basic things. Better pillows and more of them would have been nice. It only had 4 and they were not good. Also no sheets for the pull out bed. We needed to buy hand soap, Kleenex and things other units had. Would recommend property but maybe not the unit we stayed in.

Very comfortable ground level condo, just steps away from the pool and beach beyond. Well appointed kitchen, many beach towels and comfortable bed. The lanai was a great gathering spot with plenty of seating. This was our second stay this year at this particular condo, and are already planning our next trip.

We had previously stayed in 8B. It’s a great location and it’s a nice unit. The only negative is the living room chairs are very uncomfortable. It is clean and well stocked with pretty much all you need. We would stay again!
8B is quite nice. We chose it for its location which is great. The ocean view is VERY PARTIAL, but there is excellent access to the lovely pool and pavilion and the quiet, beautiful beach. We encountered many small maintenance issues and the air conditioning in the bedroom is Terribly noisy, interfering with sleep. The overall atmosphere is quite shabby.
3 days before our arrival from the mainland we received an email from RentalMaui saying that there would be some plumbing and landscaping in our building during part of our stay. With difficulty we spoke with RentalMaui several times and were assured that the work would all be in front of our unit away from our lanai and would only last 1 to 2 days. They offered us a few other condos which would not meet our needs and did give us a discount - fine, but we weren’t going to Wailea for a bargain. As soon as we arrived at the condo it was clear that the work would be directly at our lanai. As we learned more bout the situation we realized that much of what RentalMaui had told us was untrue. In the end our lanai was unusable for 4 1/2 days of our 5 day stay and inside the condo was very unpleasant during the day due to jack hammering and other very loud machines and hordes of workers outside talking among themselves. RentalMaui had abandoned us by then
This condo has a cockroach issue. We had a terrible experience with cockroaches. After discovering the first on our first day I figured we are in a tropical location and it’s normal to have some bugs. But then we found 3 more, all on separate days, in different locations. The last on our final night crawled on my friends leg, super gross! We contacted the management company who informed us that this is normal and they would have thought the quarterly treatment would have taken care of them. I’ve stayed in enough beautiful condos in Maui to know that this is not normal and bug treatments are typically far more frequent than quarterly (and often occur during our stay as regular maintenance). Nothing was done to address the situation. In addition, this condo is far worse that what is shown in the photos, which are not recent. Yes, it has most of what you need, but everything is very old and in need of upgrading. There were some positives: the lanai and patio furniture are great. The AC throughout works well. The location is awesome, so close to the beach. I love Wailea Ekahi as it is the “sweet spot” between Wailea and Kihei. However, I will avoid building 8 in future, as it clearly has a cockroach issue that needs to be addressed.
A beautiful location. Steps to the pool and beach. Very comfortable bed. Our daughter ended up sleeping upside down on the hideabed in the living room because it was slanted. Once she figured it out she was fine. The Lanai is large and we spent a lot of time there. We’d definitely return to the area.
