We've stayed at Ekahi Village several times in different units, and this one stands out as one of the cleanest and most beautifully renovated. The main pavilion is just a five-minute walk away, surrounded by lush, well-maintained landscaping that makes the stroll enjoyable and never inconvenient. There are several nearby BBQ areas, all with excellent setups, which we found very convenient. The secondary pool is just steps from the unit and was perfect for a quick dip after dinner or when the beach was too windy. We typically swim in the ocean and don’t use the main pavilion pool, but having one near the unit is a nice option. Booking was effortless, and we had great communication with the hosts throughout. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped spot in the area.
We had a wonderful time at this condo. Walking distance to all outdoor activities and everything we needed was provided. Would definitely stay here again.
This condo had nice furniture and a comfy bed. As time wore on we saw many items that weren’t very clean. The ant traps were full, there were lots of ants, including in our bed, outdoor table was very dirty, lawn off patio was 10 inches deep, ditch by the pool had grass that was 15 inches tall, our bedroom patio had broken tiles and had weeds growing out of it. We spent an hour cleaning up many spiderwebs over the front patio. It needs deep cleaning and some TLC. Never could get bedroom TV volume to increase or decrease. The washing machine needs to be scrubbed…loads of mildew in gasket and thus it smells. We have visited Hawaii 18 times now and have never had such cleanliness or neglect issues.
The unit was nicely remodeled and had many items a visitor might use at the pool or beach. We have stayed at the Ekahi complex several times in the past and once again had an enjoyable time.
The unit had some minor frustrations. The toilet in the hall bathroom had a leak. It seemed that property management initially fixed after I reported it. But it started to leak again during the last 2 days of our stay.
It would have been helpful to have written instructions for how to operate the TVs, especially in the bedroom. Also, it would be nice to know what TV service/ streaming a visitor could use. I communicated with property management using texts and they were able to help get us into the bedroom TV.
In terms of the Ekahi complex, while we were close to one of the small pools, the pool is not heated so swimming in it is not overly comfortable. Good place to just hang out. We mostly used the main pool which is heated and near the beach and got some of our daily exercise trekking back and forth to the main pool.
In terms of the adjacent public beach which we enjoyed using on past visits, Mother Nature did not cooperate during our stay. The surf was high and rough, and the beach was nonexistent. So, we did not have a close place within walking distance do some snorkeling.
The unit is next to Wailea Alanui Dr. so the road noise - stereo subwoofers, loud motorcycles, etc. - can be a bit annoying. But we had no problem sleeping and during the day we out of the unit.
We loved this unit, having a second bathroom was convenient and the large lanai was great. Also the extra lanai/garden off the bedroom was a bonus. The only thing missing was a kettle.

This unit was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything you would need while on vacation. The Lanai looked out onto lush green lawns and gardens and the Quiet Pool Number 3. The kitchen was modern and had more than enough equipment to make a meal or pack a picnic. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning very efficient. Management answered any questions or concerns very promptly. The only drawbacks to this unit is that it is quite a walk to the main pool and beach especially on the way back as it is all uphill. This could be a problem for some people. There is also some traffic noise as it is close to the road.
Your condo is very nice and we liked how close it is to the upper pool. The bed is so comfortable! Thank you!
We love staying in the Ekahi Village. This unit has a quiet shaded patio. The AC in the bedroom was what we needed to cool off after a long day. Pool 3 is right out the door, although it is not heated it refreshing on hot days! Its a walk to the beach and main heated pool but we considered that a good added workout.
We had a great stay - the unit was well-equipped, had a good layout and was convenient to the road.
