We had a great time at this vacation rental! It was clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed. The location is also fantastic! Close to the beach and the two shopping centers in Waikoloa Beach.
Comfortable, Clean, Quiet, convince location.
Pros: Spacious unit, updated baths, large terrace with beautiful trees and birds surrounding it. Good price. Comfy bed. Responsive manager. Cons: Decor lacked any Hawaiian influences. It was quite boring compared to the other properties we stayed at on our 4 week trip. Basically no decor. Dishes were mismatched. Definitely felt like a rental - not a place an owner would stay at. We stayed 7 days and the A/C only worked for 3 of those days. It was difficult to get a cross breeze so it was very warm and difficult to sleep at night with the heat. We would have left had we known it wouldn't get fixed but each day it seemed it would get fixed but then parts were not available or the repair person couldn't come. I understand that these things can happen unexpectedly. We were given a one night refund which I appreciated but expected more as that did not make up for the discomfort and inconvenience.
Another good stay at this property. Made good use of the beach chairs and umbrella for day trips to Hapuna and Mauumae beaches. We find “The Shores” to be the best location within the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. A manageable walk to most everything. … A-Bay, Hilton, Marriot, Kings Shops etc. Lorena’s property is comfortable and well stocked. Probably time to replace the cushions on the lanai dining chairs but other than that no complaints.

Loved the unit and the location. Told the property manager about a broken chair in the living room our first week, and it did not get fixed while we were there for another 10 days.
Everything was perfect! Spacious, fully equipped and ideal location. We had everything we needed and more, including the fitness center.
Beautiful area with amazing beaches and amenities. The condo was clean and as described.
Appreciated that many necessary items (soap, towels, paper towels, dish soap) were provided which is not always the case in these rental properties.
The property otherwise was as pictured and described. There was one odd communication from property manager about having a plumber come in that we responded to but then never got a response on.
We loved this condo so much, we came back this year to the same one! Love waking up to beautiful sunrises and singing birds!
Our second time wintering at “The Shores” but first time in this unit.
The unit was well stocked for our stay and after a day or so we had television, spectrum etc figured out.
The lanai got morning sun but shade in the afternoon which suited us nicely.
We had no issues while we were there and had some, but minimal, contact with our host.
We plan to return in the future.
Loved the property and the accommodations. Very clean, and lovely view of the mountains. About a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach, but there are also a number of beaches within a short driving distance. We arrived about an hour early and I contacted the host to see if we could check in a little early, and she was very accommodating. Already booked for next year!
