Everything g was great only problem house o ly had 1 room AC unit
The house is very spacious and open. We never felt cramped with 5 adults and two teens. The location is 50 min drive to Kiluea but in a really quiet and dafe neighborhood. This is a very nice place to unwind. The other condos that we've stayed at are closer to the beach but those areas seem a little more busy and hectic. Out here is less touristy and therefore quieter and relaxed. Much more of a house/home than a mass produced condo feel.
We had to leave 2 days into the 5 day stay due to rat sightings all over the property, in traps and sounds in the walls. Ants were also all over, including on the living room coffee tables, on the ceiling near the smoke detectors, and of course in the kitchen and bathrooms. This is not an exaggeration and we did take photos. Property owners were kind and gave us a full refund, so we are grateful for their understanding.
Great property! Location was perfect, close to the beach and about 35 min to Kona. The property is partial AC as one room has a wall unit.
Loved how spacious this home is for our family of 6. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Kitchen was big and had great appliances - including a toaster/air fryer and even rice cooker. Loved having the washer and dryer - with detergent pods and dryer sheets too! Thank you!
The only drawback for us was not realizing how warm the house would be since it has no central A/C. (Only one room has an A/C) This was my miss for not reading the propery features carefully. I had assumed it had an A/C since it was beautifully constructed and described. I'm sure it's perfectly fine for the other cooler months but walking in to a warm house at 4pm (after a long travel day) didn't feel welcoming at all. Something for the property Mgr to consider when prepping the home for the next renter.
Aside from that home temperature which is fixable, i would recommend the house for a big family who wants a spacious home to spread out during a vacation while also able to stay close together for meals.with the large dining area and kitchen. This home was a better value than renting a hotel in the area.

This place was excellent, we really enjoyed spending one week in this house. The house is super roomy and clean. Love how it has so many windows giving you the beach house vibe feeling you need to enjoy the big island.
I hardly recommend this place to enjoy with friends and family.
Beautiful layout, comfortable, space to spread out, lanai facing the sunset was perfect, close to my favorite beaches, KTA right around the corner, comunal pool clean and not crowded, interesting history of the house (sad it is so croweded now), cool at night...we are from Alaska so we were never overheated, and many more positives. The couch was not very comfortable but we never turned on the tv and used the dining table and lani to gather together. The vegitation on the property was so local and the wild turkeys gave us a few shows. We could not get into the garage for beach chairs etc. however it was not an issue since a local friend lent me a few things. Fantasic property with all the amenities!

Great for families or 3 couples.
Would love to return again to the H-House.
We had a great time in Hawaii. The home is conveniently located near grocery, shopping. Fairly close to beach-20 minute drive. We enjoyed family time in the home.
