Great views, great number of beds
As advertised. Having covered parking onsite and only a couple easy blocks from beach and c-store was awesome. Easy to get into and out if self driving excursions and dinning.
We really enjoy staying on this end of Waikiki. The building is easy to get to. Parking was easy. Great communication with the host and the unit itself is clean and has a nice view of Diamond Head. The only issue we had with the unit is the shower head is super strong or a mist, with no in-between, which was annoying because you have to hold it in your hand. The building itself, however, could really use some updating. The hallway carpets need replacing, the reception area could be a lot more welcoming, the snack shop and fitness room were closed, an elevator was wonky... those sorts of things. They aren't vital to have a good time, but would certainly go a long way in getting a return visit.
charming apartment! Kitchen adequately stocked; beds were very comfy. Property manager responsive. Property overall was a little bit dated, but it was clean. Safe area, great for walking to beach and all around Waikiki.
We enjoyed this condo and the location. It worked well for our family of 4. We appreciated the 2 twin beds in the 2nd room for my boys. Walking distance tp everything we needed
Location is key - so close to the beach and the main strip. The Diamond Head View was beautiful. Roomy and very clean. The upgrades to the unit are so appreciated. I had other family members staying in other units in the same building that felt outdated… while we had the best appointed unit in the building.
We look forward to another visit!
The location is perfect. However, the communication with the management is a bit challenge. The room is smaller than the pictures. The elevator shut down one time, we climbed the stairs! Overall, the experience was alright.

The good Captain Cook was easy to work with and a great company overall. The unit was dated, but clean. In a great location. Walkable to the beach, stores , restaurants. Had no issues with parking.The bad- we booked this unit for the location and pool. The pool was closed for maintenance two days of our stay. The elevators were also out of order intermittently for two days. We were notified by a sign inside the elevator. Had I known of these issues, we would have either not booked this unit or planned to be on excursions during this time period. As it was, we were on the 24th floor, so we needed up being trapped inside for several hours. We did receive a small refund, but really not worth it considering the impact. According to other long term guests, the elevator issues are common. The pull out sofa does not have a mattress- it's a 4inch piece of foam suitable for a child only.
Great location and great value. Space was perfect for family of four. Amenities were nice and staff was friendly

Fantastic location, nice condo, loved that it had 2 bedrooms, would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed the condo and it served our needs for sleeping and resting after a long day enjoying the Island. It’s a bit smaller than the pictures lead on (inside), however, we didn’t come to Oahu to stay inside all day and laze around a house/condo. It served excellent jumping point to all the hotspots within walking distance to Waikiki, as well as close proximity to major veins to get around the island. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and served as a great vantage point in the morning and evening. WiFi was not working well, but building WiFi served as backup and fit our needs well.
The AC didn’t cool the bedrooms rooms (we prefer a cooler nighttime, but opened the windows and let the fresh ocean breeze cool us at night.
Would highly recommended for the value and proximity. Would definitely stay again and appreciate the host/management sending detailed instructions.

We loved our stay and couldn't have been happier with the incredible view we had from the balcony to Diamond Head. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, but the view made it worth every single penny! Breathtaking! Highly recommend!

Re: Waikiki Sunset 24th floor, we found the location to be perfect. Close to the zoo, Starbucks, restaurants and the beach. The beach on this end has a wonderful barrier that keeps the big waves and crabs (& other sea life) just beyond your floating paradise. Everyone on floaties and so peaceful. The pool gets shady around noon and is very windy always. The wind on the 2 blocks around the front entrance of Waikiki Sunset is a constant wind tunnel (very very strong.) After 2 blocks it gets sunnier and hotter the closer you get to the beach! The suite was a 2 bedroom with pull out couch in the living room. Never have I ever had a pull out couch that was posturepedic with boards and thin mattress. So sagging mattress with springs in your back! The queen and twins were very good quality. No one had back aches. The starting supplies like dishwashing liquid, paper towel and coffee filters lasted the whole 10 days. We only had to buy 1 pack of tp (as there were 5 of us.) There were ample towels and beach towels, really nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a great little kitchen. We were fine without laundry and dishwasher but they gave us a jar of laundry pods for the coin laundry room which was just beside our suite. Very thoughtful! The tub was a combo short tub and shower and we thought it was great. The view of Diamond Head directly out the lanai was so beautiful and the partial view of the ocean was amazing. The Waikiki area has a lot of emergency vehicle sirens going all times of day and night. I presume some of it is to move along the homeless. The stay was fantastic and my Mom (85) kept saying how pleased she was with the accommodation she had paid for! Thanks to our lovely host Byron! We would highly recommend this AirBNB. Thanks!
Our stay at Waikiki Sunset was just what we needed for our time in Waikiki. A quick walk anywhere, place was clean and as described. Some construction in the lobby downstairs but nothing that interrupted our stay.

Overall great stay! The check-in process was quite simple and Byron was very responsive and helpful. The unit was cozy, came equipped with everything you need, and had an amazing view of Diamond Head.

The photos undersell the view! Overall, the apartment is quite comfortable, clean, and equipped exactly as listed. Check-in was super easy. We had no problems during our stay. Parking in the garage is first-come, first-served, which can make coming and going a bit time consuming. The elevators can be similarly slow (although one was out our entire stay, it had been for more than a month). The only real complaints we had were almost no water flow out of the bathroom sink, and the tap water would taste a lot better with a water filter (bottled water is terrible for the environment!).

The unit is so spacious and met all of our needs ... from being located next to the laundry, to having an off street parking spot baked into the rental price. Cooking was easy for us, and the beds were extra comfortable. The view was amazing, and we became very comfortabl walking the short walk to the beach and the main strip. This unit is in the heart of everything, and yet it is quiet. Highly recommend this for someone that wants to be close to everything, but still feel as if they have their own private paradise. Last but not least, the pictures do not give this place justice - it is extremely clean.
This was a great location. Lovely apartment but a little dated. And cheap fittings, so things broke, like the toilet roll holder and the wardrobe doors. We didn't have a plug for the kitchen sink till the second day so that was annoying.
Over all though, it was a very good place to stay. We were very happy here.
