Great view from the fourteenth floor. Lovely house. Clean. Minimart inside the complex and 5 min walk to abc store was great. 10 min walk to waikiki beach. Beds were very comfortable. Only issue I could think of is the a/c wasnt working well in the bedrooms but it was manageable.
Fabulous location and cozy condo: we really enjoyed the location, such a close walk down to the beach and tons to do in surrounding area of Waikiki. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed and the building had a nice pool / deck area and fitness facility. The parking being included was a big plus as we had a rental car and parking is tough in that area of town. The rooms were a little small and some furnishings are showing signs of wear but we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.
The location is great and we loved having the space we needed, including a kitchen. The view of Diamond Head can’t be beat. But the beds are ok (need new pillows), the furniture is worn, the cabinets are peeling and need to be replaced, and the fridge door handle is worn. (If not replacing the fridge, order a new handle.) This place has been worn hard and the owner needs to invest, especially since this please was not cheap. We had issues with the ac and the door lock and the property managers were responsive. The carpet leading from the elevator to the unit is just ick.

This was the second leg of our Hawaii tour and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Two blocks from the beach and main drag, safe neighborhood, convenient parking, and a nice condo. Space worked well for a family of four (2 teens) so no complaints. Loved that the unit came with beach chairs and umbrella which made it easy to walk down the street and be on the beach in a few minutes. Parking was convenient and is currently included with the VRBO but I relive starting 2026 it will be an extra charge. Once item of not is the height of the garage as spelled out at 6'. We changed out our rental from a Jeep Wrangler to a Mazda SUV just to make sure no clearance issues. probably would have been ok with the Jeep since there were a couple of them in the garage, but also noticed quite a few scrapes in the ceiling of the parking garage from some unlucky driver. Had one issue with the internet where it was out for a few days which meant no TV (small kids may have an issue) but with cell phones and being out and about was not a major inconvenience for us. overall great location int he city.
Pro: - good location, just enough away from the big crowds but close enough to shops, restaurants, activities, beach and transportation, all within waking distance- beds satisfactory comfortness- relatively clean- included parking: Rec a smaller car/suv: parking is prob the tightest i've experienced- kitchen ok, tho really 1 usable decent non-stick pan (other pots were ok). Had to buy oil to cook with. Salt & pepper provided only, hidden behind the utensils drawer. Enough plates, bowls, cups, silverware, cutting board and large knives -- good enough to cut a pineapple. Spoons were mostly serving sized spoons, tho - way larger than a standard tablespoon, almost too large to eat with. Odd.- view of Diamond Head!- decently quiet though can still hear crowing chickens 13 floors below & large vehicles but really not that bad. Neighbor quietness depends on who happens to be there. Consider ear plugs- A/C & WiFi great- 4 beach towels included. Linens and bath towels are enough- store @5th floor rents beach equipment (umbrella, boogie boards, snorkels,etc)- wash/dryer next door great: use app to pay- manager is responsive & helpful!Con:- interior a bit tired. Needs new furniture esp the chair next to patio: seat is brown. Sofa not quite as bad. Peeling bathroom cabinets- you'll need to buy more TP- faulty shower faucet repaired- fridge leaks water slowly- bedrooms snug, but remember this is hawaii. Livable.- pricepoint just ok, but hawaii is just expensive.
This property has everything you need for a great vacation. It was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Having the parking spot was a huge bonus.
It was a great place to be with allot going on around you.
Overall, great place. Perfect location. Quiet. Convenient.
Great location to many amenities- Waikiki beach within easy walking distance; lots of restaurants/shops close by; easy walk to International Mall; city bus stop a block away. Very much appreciated the beach chairs.Condo itself comfortable. Smaller than expected. Tight quarters in bedrooms with little space to store luggage out of the way. It needs “a little love” However we would stay here again.
My buddy and I came out here for a guys weekend and it didn't disappoint. very clean spacious space. communication was great. absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I will be back!! thanks a tonne
Absolutely stunning view of DiamondHead! The unit was ready and prepared for my sister and family coming to Hawaii for a once in a lifetime event. Easy directions from the airport, parking and distance to the beach and zoo. Overall visit was worth every penny.
I purchased this for my sister and her son/daughter in law and three children. For them, this was a “turn key” operation and they enjoyed the visit! For me, getting a complete list of check-in procedures was not easy. I LIVE ON ISLAND, I would have expected to get the procedures a couple of days prior to arrival, that way I could plan and execute, keeping my guests moving from the airport, and their long trip, to the VRBO.
Additionally, it was unclear on who to talk to upon entering the building; the person at the desk directed us to a security guard who was the actual person to check in with, not in my directions or it was unclear. More information, like parking was explained by the security guard. An aside, with all the bags brought for the week-long stay, we saw a baggage cart and asked to use it. The security guard said sure, but after you give him and ID and fill out a sheet explaining who you are; all of that while you are trying to check in, tired guests and people who just want to get to their room. So we just figured it out with multiple trips.
All this in contrast to our other VRBO, who provided us with the “gold standard” of check in procedures.

Perfect for family with young kids needing separate spaces, ability to make meals, and proximity to calm sandy beach.
Loved that we could walk to restaurants and beaches, but also provided free parking.

We had a pleasant stay. The unit is clean. Beautiful view of Diamond Head. Even with the AC off, you can feel the nice breeze at 14th floor. They have beach towels and beach chairs your can use if you want to hang out by Waikiki Beach. Very convenient location. It is close to everything.The condo is located at the 14th floor and there is a mart on the 5th floor if you forgot to buy groceries and want to cook simple breakfast. It's walking distance to an ABC store, food truck. It is very safe. If you are renting a car though, don't rent big SUV's because the ceiling of the parking structure is low. We had to switch our Ford expedition to a smaller SUV.other than that, I say, the place is great. Byron, the property manager is very pleasant as well. He could not be there in person but he arranged everything for an easy check in. We recommend this place to everyone.
The property was clean. The property manager was very accommodating. And easy to get a hold of. Centrally located. Just a few minutes walk from the beach. Parking was great, no complaints.

First leg of our 14 day Hawaii trip. Great place to start.
Great location, short walk to the beach and restaurants. Parking is super convenient. Ideal for 4 people.
When we arrived at the condo, I was very surprised that it was very, small, rundown and not clean. The air conditioning didn’t work, luckily we didn’t really need it. I couldn’t open the second bedroom closet all of the way, paint was peeling on all doors. The balcony glass table had been broken and instead of replacing it, they tried to repair it with cement or something. The fridge looked like it came from someone’s garage. The vacuum didn’t work and I could not sweep up with the old broom. I am pointing this out because in addition to the rental fee and taxes, I had to pay a cleaning fee.
I may sound like I’m being petty but we payed a lot to rent this place and it did not match the pictures at all.
Despite all of this the location was great, the beds were comfortable and we had a great time. Unfortunately, I do not think we will rent from Captain Cooks again.
Best view in Waikiki. No buildings in the way! ? everything you need within walking distance.
We stayed here for spring break. Great location just 2 blocks from Waikiki. Property was clean, easy parking. Parts of the property were dated but it was very clean and comfortable. The management company did a great job of staying in touch with us and answering any questions.
Was ok room needs some updating
First of all, the location and view - Diamond Head, unblocked, in all it's glory, was wonderful. Only one short block to the beach, and convenient to shops and restaurants can't be beat. Being at one end of Waikiki also meant we weren't surrounded by crowd and traffic noise. Everything we needed was provided and all communications were prompt, easy, and clear. Parking was included and we appreciated that. If we were to try to find fault, it would be that one, then two of the four elevators were under maintenance during part of our visit, resulting in somewhat of a wait during the morning "rush hour," a minor inconvenience.
Clean Condo with all necessities. Amazing view of Diamond Head and situated close to Kapiolani Park. A short walk to both Queen's and Kaimana Beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend for a family of 4-5
