Pros: The location is wonderful and the Bamboo's peaceful pool area is a real bonus (especially if your flight is at night and you need to occasionally hang out somewhere after checkout). The AC works well and the couch is really really comfortable for 1 person. We all got a great sleep. You can use their chair and snorkel gear, but the umbrella was shoddy. I think there's no guarantee what gear is there, it just depends on what other guests have left behind.Cons: Probably the worst thing (and this isn't clear in the ad) is that you can't actually sit on and enjoy the main balcony. For some reason, it's not really a balcony, more like a railing for a balcony-sized window. So you can open the door and lean on the railing and hang towels there, but you can't actually sit there. Had we known that, we absolutely wouldn't have booked this room over the other one we considered at the Bamboo, just because we had planned to sit on the balcony and sip coffee and enjoy the view of the pool. This seems to be the only unit at the Bamboo that has this issue (I was looking at all the units from the pool).Yes there's another balcony, but it doesn't have a good view. We primarily used that to dry our clothes.Overall, 610 is actually smaller than it appears. I was surprised because my research found people claiming that 610 was huge, but it isn't. The couch, while comfortable, doesn't pull out into a full or anything (but it's good for one person).
Great clean and quiet place in the middle of busy Waikiki, walking distance to several beaches and things to see. Pool is a big bonus and was clean and not crowded. Had a great time THANKS!
We visited for 6nights. The location and staff are great. A couple of items to point out. The freezer portion of refrigerator was frozen over and dirty. In the shower it looked like there is a plate to keep the water in the shower that was not adhered to the surface allowing water to run out of the shower making a mess.
Good - very close to beach and shopping. Very quiet for being in an area of construction.
Bad - shower needs attention to seal the area. The shower portion is isolated with a floor seal needs that has broken free.
Neighborhood can be a tad sketchy at times but the room was fantastic! Love to be able to stay 3 minute walk to the beach! Would def recommend this place!
Close to the beach. It was just lovely. The pool was so much fun too.

Overall we had a great stay at this property. Good location, about a block outside of the very popular areas. Walking distance to main attractions of Waikiki.
Building staff were very friendly and accomodating. The listing agent was also friendly and quick to respond to our inquiries.
Everyone at this condo-tel is so nice and friendly. We love the location and have stayed here twice. The poolside restaurant has excellent fries too! Walk to absolutely everything—no car needed! Highly recommend.
Great location and a great spot. We looked in the closet and found a couple of boogie boards and I was able to fulfill a childhood dream. We loved it all.
Location was great and pool area was nice. Problem we had was…..the pictures of the unit on verbo we reserved were not the unit we got!

We found local places that were really good — Blue Ocean for lamb chops (take your own bottle of wine) and Lulu’s for salads — and it is a nice day out to walk to Diamond Head (you need a reservation to get in) or Koko Head. We walked to Walmart to get our souvenirs and wine and that was a nice enjoyable walk as well.
We rented a car the last day through Turo and toured the island up the east coast to North Shore and Turtle Bay. Beautiful.
We didn’t find the snorkeling at Haunauma Bay to be worth the cost and hassle, definitely would not go next time. Your mileage may vary.
