I enjoyed my stay so much and would love to book this property next time I visit Hawaii. It has the most beautiful views and the location is perfect. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The 10th floor viewing desk was also a plus.
Great place, views and location! We enjoyed the balcony and the sliding door. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed with the kitchenette. The building is old but looks well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay again.
The unit was in a great location with a beautiful view. It had everything we needed except very small with little storage. We ended up living out of our suitcases. Also, there isn't any selves in the shower to put your shampoo or anything. The room has some furniture that should be replaced with more functional pieces. One beach chair was provided but it was in terrible condition so it wasn't used. A couple of new beach chairs would be a great addition. We didn't spend much time in the room so it was good enough for us. We used the laundry room which has new washers and dryers.
We loved this property! The bed was very comfortable, really nice kitchenette, bathroom was fine with a nice, big tiled shower, but the balcony and view was the BEST! Excellent view of Diamond Head from within room/bed. Very large retractable patio glass doors to balcony. From balcony the view of Diamond Head in background and overlooked Honolulu Zoo. If you bring binoculars or have a good zoom on your camera you can watch many pink flamingos playing in pond at the zoo! And if you looked to your right from the balcony, you had an amazing view of Waikiki Beach with all the beautiful blues and greens of the ocean, and the pier! Room size definitely only for 2 people, but worked great for the 2 of us. There was one beach chair, a boogie board, some snorkeling gear and a small soft sided cooler in the closet, which was nice. We used the bus (lots of bus stops within 1/2 mile) for trip to Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor and bus #20 back to airport and had no issues at all. Easy to find bus stop, bus #, etc from google maps which updated in real time if bus was running late. Just get to bus stop 5 min early, as buses sometimes are even early and they do leave as soon as anyone there is loaded!! We spent time every night on the pier right down the street to watch and photograph amazing sunsets, surfers and watch the Friday night fireworks!! Highly recommend this place for an economy stay on Waikiki!
A perfect stay! The location and view was Beautiful. The sliding doors to the lanai made the room the perfect size. No AC needed with the open light and airy outdoor living experience. The bed/mattress gave us the perfect sleep. The AC when needed was perfectly quiet unlike those in your standard hotel. The couch was a plus making it a very homey feel We had all our meals on the Lanai enjoying the view of the beach, ocean and Diamond head. We couldn't be happier, perfect accomodations, pleasant hotel staff, will definitely book again.
Location & view can’t be beat!! The unit on the other hand needed maintenance. The trim in needs to be replaced or painted. The furniture is too big and some of it useless. Just because you put a chair cushion on an end table doesn’t make it a chair the de be use gor much of anything. The
We loved the location. Comfy bed, lots of towels, if you want to eat in, the efficiency kitchen was well equipped. We paid for the parking garage, be sure to get a small call as the spaces are tight! It is cozy for sure with your luggage under the bed as described. Too many pillows and throw pillows. Our only disappointment was the bathroom is in need of attention from a sink that doesn’t drain, marred and chipped woodwork, the bath was overused and rough looking.
The view is stunning! The bed was heavenly, and the beach a stones throw away. How wonderful it was floating in blue salt water🎉 everyday! Thanks for a great time.
it is a nice place to stay if you rent a car you can pay for a place to park it at the hotel.
The most beautiful view you could imagine. It's just breathtaking! The room is small and charming, with homey personal touches. It's not "hotel perfect" so if that bothers you, don't book it and then complain. Go pay a lot more for something boring and generic and leave it for people who will appreciate it.
The location is ideal! Right across from the zoo and the park, and next to a lovely beach that isn't completely crowded. Near multiple bus lines too. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony so much, watching all of the birds riding the updrafts above the trees in the park, and the flamingos walking around the zoo, and the people walking to the beach, with Diamond Head as the backdrop to it all. The whole wall opens up, if you want that, and you feel like you're outside. My husband kept telling me what a good choice I made in accomodations. The building itself is very charming too (make sure to visit the roof), and there's tons of easy food choices just steps away. Recommended: happy hour at The Deck, next door at the QK hotel.
One last thing of note - we went on a ghost tour and the guide assured us that the building wasn't known to be haunted - something that is apparently NOT true of a lot of accomodations. So, there's that to consider as well. :)
Awesome location that was close to everything! The views of Diamond Head and the beach were fantastic!
My wife and I love visiting Hawaii as we both grew up and met in High School there. This small but nice apartment is in a great spot. We could walk to almost everything in Waikiki. The beach is 1/2 block away. We used to get our coffee and sit on the beach almost every morning for the 2 weeks we stayed here. We would definitely stay here again.
condo is small but perfect for 1-2 people that do not plan to stay indoors much during the day. The location has great views and close to beach, coffee, restaurants. kitchenette is useful! Bathroom does not have counter space to keep your items, however they do provide shelves to make up for that, just not the most functional bathroom for getting ready in.
Everyone was so helpful and very friendly! The view as well as the short walking distance to the beach is amazing!
The view from this property is incredible! It was easy to forget that we were on the edge of Waikiki. The sliding door was amazing to open all the way and enjoy the outside day and night. In fact we left it open most nights and things quieted down enough to hear the waves sometimes. Waking up to the sunrise and having coffee on the lani while watching the waves roll in was just fantastic. It is a small unit, but perfect for two people, and you can't beat the view. Another plus is there is a storage hold place right across the alley from the hotel! Super convenient for early arrival or late flight after check out. Bounce, at Honolulu zoo is the location to look for. It is seriously like 20 steps from the front lobby of this hotel. Communication was great from the time I booked this. I would highly recommend this for people that are looking for a place they can do their own thing and just want an awesome place to be.
