This was a lovely trip. The property is near shopping, food (including the coolest little diner ever- Rock Island), and access to one of the best beaches. My family of 7 enjoyed the property and amenities the entire length of our stay. If ever on the island again, I know where we are staying.
We had an absolute wonderful time and would love to come back! We loved each having our own bathroom in the absolute amazing view on the upstairs balcony. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
This property met our needs for our vacation. It is an older property with need of some improvement, but overall okay.
Our family of 6 enjoyed the amazing views from the balcony and Friday Night Fireworks. The house is well equipped. The upstairs bedroom can get very hot. The building is dated, but the location is great. We loved the food trucks across the street.
This condo is perfect for our family - 2 adults and 3 very tall teenagers. Having a condo with 3 bedrooms was needed. We put the girls in the master suite with the king converted to twin beds. We put the boy in the bedroom with the queen bed. We indulged ourselves with the fabulous 2nd floor bedroom. An added bonus is that everyone had their own bathroom with shower as there are 3 full bathrooms.
Obviously, the views are amazing! The location is great. They really need to work on the cleanliness of the unit. When we walked in we found a used nasal wash thing on the counter, an open half eaten pack of cookies on the couch. The kitchen had so many ghost ants we couldn't use it or even set anything down on the counter. The main bathroom had a used bar of soap in the shower. The upstairs bathroom shower had what appeared to be blood on the walls. Neither had been cleaned. The parking was a hassle, no discount and they tried to charge for 5 days when I only stayed 4. One other weird thing, every morning there would be water on the floor near the bottom of the stairs. I think we used half the towels wiping it up. I couldn't find anything dripping and I don't think it was coming from the bathroom. Again, the view was amazing, the rooftop does need more than seating for three.
This was an amazing place with amazing views day and night . Was spacious for our entire family and well kept. Love the antiques in there and the rooms and bathrooms were very nice. Definitely was described correctly and I recommend this to anyone wanting to see Hawaii it’s so close to everything
Although the facilities are a bit outdated, three-bedroom condominiums in Waikiki are very rare. As other guests have noted, the view from the top floor is spectacular. The staff's office is close by and they are quick to respond to requests.
What a pleasure it was to stay here. We were looking for a place that was centrally located and had unbeatable views — this was it! Plenty of space, could not beat the views. Excellent host communication, very clean with lots of amenities. We were thrilled to be here on a Friday night as the city has a fireworks display, the outdoor patio was the place to enjoy them. Would absolutely book again if we find ourselves in Honolulu. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
Plenty of space for all- loved having 3 bathrooms! Good location, nice building, friendly staff, plenty of parking (paid). We would likely look to vrbo instead of hotel rooms on future trips.
Perfect spot for our group. Views were amazing and the location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only negative mark is fire alarm went off twice and once at 5am. Water was also shut off for 3 hours.
This penthouse was a perfect stay for three fanilies. We had plenty of room for all of us to have our own rooms and bathrooms. We had the kids stay down stairs with their moms, while my mom and I had the upstairs. We had total provacy and couldnt hear a thing when they watched tv and woke up early. Perfect view from the balcony of all the cuty.
As a family of grandparents, a great uncle, grand daughter, daughter, son and daughter in law, we cover 75 to 11 in ages. The views were amazing and close to areas of interest. We found the host very responsive and appreciated their prompt responses and actions. Thank you
Our family of 7 stayed here for our vacation in Honolulu and it was perfect. There was plenty of space, and the location was central to everything. Highly recommend this location!!
Plus the donut shop in the lobby is to die for
The property itself is a little run down, but the unit was decent and the view cannot be beat. Some kitchen towels and hot pads would have been nice. But the highlight was by far the view, which was totally worth it. Lots of stuff to walk to for food and shopping.
First off the location is great and the view is beautiful. The listing pictures are not accurate and there are some issues that need addressing in the home.
Our issue came on day 3 when we told the host that we would be out of toilet paper by the next day. His reply was that this “wasn’t a hotel “ and we would have to buy our own. Only after I threatened to mention that in my review did he offer to send some over the next day. We were also out of garbage bags and there was no handsoap in any of the 3 bathrooms.
When the lady came by the next day to drop the stuff off she was told she was only allowed to give us one bar of soap. One of the mini hotel bars. She said she thought it was ridiculous too but that was her instructions.
We never did get detergent for the dishwasher
I guess that’s what happens when you don’t care about whether your clients are looked after when you charge them the kind of money that they do. Even the crappiest motels at least give you soap and toilet paper.
Our family stayed here in January. It was my husband and myself and our two twenty-ish kids. We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great and within walking distance of a lot of stuff. There was plenty of room for the four of us, and our kids were able to each have their own room. I had read comments about the elevator being slow and that the washer/dryer didn't work very well, but we did NOT find this to be true at all. It looked like the dryer lint trap had not been emptied in a long time, but we removed the lint and it worked great! The only negative was that there were hardly any drinking glasses, regular utensils (spatulas, mixing spoons, etc. for cooking) and serving bowls. Other than that very minor issue, it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again!
It was difficult to find a place large enough to comfortably accommodate 6 adults and this was one of the few options available. This penthouse worked perfectly for us. It’s a short walk to Waikiki beach, Kalakaua Ave with lots of shopping and restaurants, International Marketplace, Ala Moana mall, and TWO 7-11s. 7-11s on Hawaii are nothing like 7-11s on the mainland. They’re safe, clean, and have a large variety of delicious musubi (rice balls)
The unit itself was spacious and had incredible views. We could see Diamond Head, Waikiki, Punchbowl, and the Friday night fireworks. There’s a huge balcony that’s nice to sit on to watch sunsets. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for the few meals we prepared. There’s a washer and dryer in the unit, which came in handy.
It was nice to have lots of beach towels available. There’s also some beach toys if you have kids. Parking is available for $40/day (cash) or there’s a Hui car rental right in the bldg. There’s also bus stops nearby and you can get to and from the airport for $3/person
The location is great. We walked to Zippy’s (best fast food!), Kona Coffee Purveyors (best lattes), House Without A Key at Halekulani (best breakfast buffet). I wanted to go to Arnold’s Beach Bar (heard they have good, cheap drinks) but ran out of time. It’s about block from the unit.
Appreciated the clear communication with the property managers. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful.
Mahalo!
