We very much enjoyed our stay at Lanikea. The view, in person, is far better than it appears in the photos. While the apartment and furnishings are showing signs of wear (the building is 20 years old!), it was meticulously clean upon our arrival. It was well stocked with glasses, dishes, utensils and all the cookware we required. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the ocean (3 to 4 blocks) and most everything else in Waikiki. The staff and residents were friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. It has more of a residential feel than vacation rental. The pool and hot tub are very nice and often we were the only ones using them. The management company responded to a couple of minor inquiries/requests promptly. Kudos to Luana Hawaii Property management. The apartment does come with two parking spots (which we did not avail ourselves of). We would love to stay here again if we visit Waikiki in the future. The best compliment I can say about this apartment and building is that, if we had the financial resources to do so, we would seriously consider purchasing here at Lanikea. Mahalo

This property is wonderful. It's ideal if you want to be in a secure building with an ocean view and friendly front desk staff. The parking was convenient, the pool and hot tub were nice, and the layout of the condo was optimal for us. The block is on the quieter side, but if you've not been to Waikiki the area can get a bit noisy. Just something to consider. Thank you to the owner, property manager, and building staff for a lovely stay!

Building is fantastic. Safe, clean and friendly. Location is perfect in Waikiki and parking was great in the garage.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. I visited with my husband and 26 year old son (who was moving to Honolulu and we came to help him find an apartment). View is amazing. I woke up every morning and had breakfast on the lanai overlooking the ocean. I never tired of the view. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We had one issue with the stovetop. Only one burner was working, which was fine for us because we only ate breakfast and lunch in the unit. The management was very attentive and tried to get someone into fix it promptly but we understood the constraints of COVID and it was really fine. About two weeks into the stay they found someone. The amenities at this place are great. The pool is probably the nicest I have seen at a condo unit. Clean, perfect temperature and I was usually the only one in it! This unit comes with TWO parking spots, which was amazing because my son also had a car. Very close to beach, restaurants and running paths. Really perfect location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if there was not a 1-month minimum :(
