Great location nice studio
This was a wonderful stay at an excellent location that was walkable to everything we needed! Very responsive host and easy check-in process!
The aircoditioner was broken. Parking was 50.00 a day and the host charged for food items I did not eat
Perfect little space for my stay. Close to everything! Host provided everything you need for a beach vacation. Easy check in, easy check out. Loved the location! The bed was comfy. Having the food trucks next store made meals easy.

It’s a small corner unit in the Monarch hotel located in Waikiki. The Unit has a really nice view and it’s conveniently located at the entrance of Waikiki on the McCully side. Hot plate, dishes and kitchen necessities. The only real complaint is the hallways are extremely scented with air fresheners, carpet cleaners and or heavy scented products fyi for people with fragrance allergies. By husband had to put a towel under the door to keep the odors out. The windows in the unit do open so that was a plus. The unit itself, view and accommodations are great. Thank you! The owner is pleasant, friendly and welcoming.

When I rate I am comparing with an ordinary hotel room.
I was surprised that there was no closet or any place to hang clothes, even no place for drying beach or pool clothes.
All cabinets and drawers were full with previous guest things or with service service items.
Result no place to put my things.
Communication ok bit all but all msg, no personal contact.

A little dated, but for the price, it was an amazing stay. Close to the beach and shopping in Waikiki. If i visit again, this is where I will book my stay.
We stay at the Monarch hotel and rental units often as our family lives walking distance from it. Our room was clean and well equipped and is located close to everything you would need on vacation.
We had a pleasant stay, only comment we had was that the room size was smaller than what we thought initially.
Good location, nice pool, had everything I needed. The view from room was nice. The 4 am opening of coffee shop was nice.

Good, clean and felt safe
The pool area has some grills if you want to do a lil bbq. Hot tubs are nice after a long busy day. The hotel has car rentals in the lobby, rather affordable if you only need a smart car. The room itself has a great view. The AC struggled a little with midday heat, but that was really my only gripe. Its only 15 minute walk from the ocean. Overall, we loved it.
The unit was pleasant and in a great location. :10 - :15 walk from Waikiki Beach. There were restaurants, fast foods and convenience stores nearby. The unit was on the 16th floor and had a wonderful view of Honolulu, especially at night. Because it was back off the beach a couple of blocks, it was less expensive than all the beachfront hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

The A/C in the room barely kept the tiny place cool. They didn’t leave any more trash bags, so WE had to buy trash bags for their apartment (you’re welcome). They charged us $35 for “pink stains” in the shower?! The soap I use is a red color… but it’s never stained anything!! Ever! Oh… and did I mention the BUGS!! Bugs everywhere!! On the window sill, on the sink counter!! EVERYWHERE!! Absolutely disgusting!! I recommend not renting this specific space.
Cleanliness was appealing to our expectation. Parking fee was very high.
Simple accommodations with a comfortable foam mattress!
The studio had the basics that I needed. Unfortunately for me, the A/C could not circulate the air well enough to sleep comfortably. I get hot easily, so I woke up often to stand in front of the A/C to cool down.
All of the places we wanted to visit were easily accessed
I'll start with positive. Easy to access..nice lil kitchen cooking stuff available, clean and very close to convention center. Cute Snart Car Rental on site.
A vacation recently in Hawaii and found this listing on VRBO.
The room was not clean at all two of the pillowcases were dirty I was afraid to lay in the sheets but there was nothing else. There wasn't even a comforter to put over us, there was just a thin blanket.
Just a simple comforter would have a nice. Also bare minimum on the sundries and there was no coffee creamer or anything to stir the coffee with.
It was just very unclean and tiny, we thought there might at least be a balcony but there wasn't a balcony it was just a very small room and the AC was slow, it did not really get cool.
Definitely would never stay here again and would not recommend. It would totally be worth it just to spend the extra money and get a nicer room for the night!
