The Marine Surf Waikiki Condominiums are located just a block from Ft DeRussy Beach Park, The Royal Hawaiian Village, and International Marketplace for shopping galore, dining and nightlife. Maximum occupancy strictly enforced in accordance with local ordinances.
The Space:
The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and can take you anywhere in Waikiki. A leisurely stroll down the street will take you right to Waikiki Beach. Apartment 2206 has been FULLY RENOVATED in October 2019 and is perfect for a small family or group of friends.
A queen-size bed and queen-size sofa sleeper are placed in front of a mounted flat-screen TV. After a day trip down to the beach or exploring the wonders of Honolulu, settle down for a movie or catch your favorite program on TV. Wifi is also provided for your convenience. Air conditioning is assembled to keep you cool on those humid days.
Enjoy the comfort of cooking in the newly remodeled kitchen, fully stocked with pots, pans and dinnerware. OR dine alfresco on the private lanai. Patio chairs lay along the lanai, so you can eat with a beautiful view. Relax out here at night and watch the city lights illuminate the area. You are also sure to watch some breathtaking sunsets transform the sky to gorgeous pinks and golds.
The building has a secure lobby and entrance along with a sundries shop offering light grocery items and wine and beer. A coin-op laundry room is located on each floor of this high-rise building. The 6th floor has a private pool and patio for guests only. There are 2 snorkel mask sets, 2 umbrellas, 4 beach chairs and a boogie board. Any missing or lost items will be charged to the guest. There is 1 parking spot available.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.
Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Overall 3 stars. Good location, 2 blocks from Waikiki beach and glad it had parking spot in the garage. But they never sent the check-in details, only the address. I had to call

Great location, close to restaurants, shopping, beach etc. Parking spot very handy. Great view of the Friday night fireworks. We are 2 seniors & booked for 16 days.Arrived on Jan 5/25 & phoned the Management Company (MC), followed up by texting pictures & followed up usually daily for the following issues:- Dining room stool needed screws tightened. It would have broken if sat on. Fixed on Jan 9th- Air Conditioner filthy. Jan 6th cleaned & disinfected- The bathroom vent was also full of dust & the floor wasn’t clean. No response on this- Fridge didn’t work. Freezer did. Jan 9th someone came & check it out. needed a new fridge. Jan 11th MC had a new fridge but were waiting for building maintenance to pad elevator. Jan 13th elevator was padded, which I let them know. Jan 16th, we received the new fridge. I asked for compensation starting on Jan 11th- Curtains filthy large area. No response on this.- Broken beach chair. Jan 6th removed it & replaced Jan 9th- The Lanai chairs were falling apart. Replaced Jan 9th.Texted to MC on Jan 6th- There were no sink stoppers for the kitchen and bathtub. Received Jan 6th- Shower curtain was moldy. Replaced Jan 6th- No tea towels. No response We are still in discussions about compensation. I rejected their first offer and am waiting for their response.

Flight came in late, so easy to get into condo. Instructions were perfect and easy to follow.
Location was in the middle of everything so very convenient for exploring.
Had a great stay and would go back to this condo again!

Floor was hideously dirty; walking around barefoot left the soles of our feet black as soot. Cockroaches abound.
The nearby bar, Cuckoo Coconuts, plays inescapably loud music until 10-11pm. We were alright only because we had earplugs.

Everything went smoothly, they have a lot of things available in the room to use, towels, chairs, etc. the room was clean and everything went well. Our flight came in at hour early and after talking with them they even allowed us to check in an hour earlier.

We had a really good time in Waikiki, the location is perfect.
All the instructions for check in were great, nice building, parking is a great feature and fully stocked kitchen.
There was one day the internet wasn't working, we called the property manager and it was fixed right away.
On the other hand there are lots of things that need to be taken care off: the apartment needs to be cleaned properly before guests check in, there was sand in the closet from the beach chairs, vents look awfully dirty. There where only 3 beach chairs instead of 4 as advertised. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. The top of the dining stools are broken, my 8 yo felt twice when seated there..
Although the listing mentions fully renovated, it does not look like it.
Not sure I would stay there again.

I made our reservation based on photos of the property but those are deceiving. Do not expect a well decorated unit, instead we entered a bare-walled, very stripped down version of what's online. The unit says it's "fully renovated" a few years ago but stove is easily from the 1980s (we didn't even try to use it) and wall paint is stripped so badly in the bathroom that you can see parts of the drywall. Also, our toilet was clogged when we arrived and it turned out that there was a bar of soap stuck in it! We had to call the property manager, Luis, who was SUPER kind and helpful to come fix the toilet. He couldn't do it so he had to call for a plumber for further assistance on day 2. We were told to use the restrooms in the lobby until ours could be fixed. I'm not sure if the previous guests played a prank or no one (i.e. cleaning crew) checks if the toilet is working prior to guests' arrivals?! Either way, this should have been caught and fixed before we arrived. Also, the tops of the dining stools are completely broken and come right off the legs of the stools so we couldn't eat at the dining table. The whole place is bare boned so don't expect much and definitely not what's pictured online. The only saving grace is the location, the helpful property manager, and the fact that the unit provides beach towels/toys/gear so that's a plus for families. These are the only reasons I give this unit 2 stars overall.
