Lots of good food near and close to the beach and mall

This condo was easy to get to from the airport with ride share, located conveniently in Honolulu for those who are willing to walk about .5-1 mile to go out, and check-in and check-out instructions were easy and clear. This condo is 0.6 miles from a slightly less crowded beach than Waikiki Beach. There are many shopping and food options within 1 mile toward the Waikiki Beach area. We easily walked between the condo and shops/restaurants/the beach multiple times each day, and frequently took ride shares for less than 5-8 (tip) when needed.We rented a car from Enterprise, from a short walk away, for our first full day to drive around the east side of the island to the North Shore. I highly recommend renting a car for one day to drive around the island if you stay in Honolulu. Parking at the condo was easy- 45 for 24 hours (other rates for other time lengths). It was also easy to take the public transportation from the condo to Pearl Harbor.The bed was as clean as a hotel's and comfortable, but the other furniture had fabric stains. A/C worked well. We did not go to the condo's affiliated pool or use the laundry. Beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel and goggle equipment provided in the closet. The host was friendly and prompt in the few communications required.

Accommodation matched the images and the owner was very responsive to all communications. Location is fine, just a little too far from both the Ala Moana center or the Waikiki strip, but we just used the buses.
Was great having beach towels, beach umbrella and seats available to use. Would be great to have a few more kitchen items just to make the stay easier.
The bed was very comfy, the room was hot but the air con worked well.

This sweet condo was a great home base for us. The kitchen made having breakfast in the condo easy. Location is close to the beach and shopping areas. Walking distance to Convention Center (we didn't go there for anything, just noticed). Place is clean and well appointed with beach towels, sunscreeen, bogie board, snorkle equipment and a vaccum to clean up the sand that will follow you home.

Although not downtown Waikiki, it was very close to the beach and the walks we made downtown were amazing. We were near great restaurants and the place itself was friendly and had extra services right in the lobby
Larry checked in with us when we got in our first night. The instructions he gave us were very clear and we had no trouble getting in on our own.
The room was small but enough for the two of us. There were towels, kitchen supplies, beach towels, beach chairs, and scuba gear. All we could need. Even a broom to sweep up the gritty sand on the floor. We were very appreciative of our stay here.

Had a good time at the monarch niu. Check in effortless, condo had what my wife and I needed for the 5 nights on island. Great location and room was clean and view of the city both day and night is beautiful. Big Mahalos to Larry for everything.... So overall, I rated 4 stars. It would’ve been 5 had one of the parking attendants on our first day wasn’t so rude. Upset at me cause I didn’t have my cash ready with no one behind us. Cussing under his breath and clinching his teeth.... I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or what? I just didn’t quite understand what exactly my wife and I did wrong to him??????He was heavier set with prescription glasses and was darker skinned Indian looking fellow. EVERY other parking attendant we encountered was very friendly and polite, they jus need to get rid of “Oscar the grouch “Besides that we enjoyed our anniversary trip.

The apartment was very clean with a great view. It was in a good location in Waikiki, had great amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were taking a cruise around the islands and came a week early to see some of Oahu before we departed. We found this condo in Waikiki. It was perfect for us. Great location within walking distance to the beach. Very close to restaurants and shopping as well. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed he pool and hot tub also. There is a pub, convenience store, bakery and a take out restaurant in the building too. A perfect getaway location for a couple traveling to Waikiki!

My trip was wonderful. Check in/out was very easy. No negatives about the condo it’s self. The elivators At the property are a bit finicky and dated but not bad at all. Maintenance did however enter the condo while I was out and caught me by surprise a bit when I entered with a slip on the kitchen table letting me know. Not a big deal at all I just would have preferred a bit of a warming. Overall a great experience and a very fair price.
