At the night time very loud outside!
Two couples stayed for 9 days. Spot was right in the middle of Waikīkī and walking distance to everything you need! We had a rental
The room was nice and as described. It was clean. It had everything that we needed to be comfortable for our stay. The location was great for us. We were able to walk to local restaurants, the mall and of course the beach.
needed a little upkeep, walls definitely needed a new coat of paint. The vertical blinds were missing many slats, which allowed no privacy and provided nothing to protect you from the sun in your face at 5am. plugs were falling out of the outlets because they were worn, which was very annoying. found an ironing board but no iron which was useless and very strangely no mirror at all in the room except for the mirror over the sink in the bathroom. The kitchen trash can was so small you had to empty the trash constantly but were not provided enough trash bags. the balcony was of no use because of the constant stream of water from the upstairs unit. very limited dishes and cleaning supplies.
We really enjoyed this apartment at the Ilikai in Honolulu. The location was excellent, about halfway between Waikiki and the Honolulu convention centre, and close to the beach. The apartment is not fancy or modern, but it was clean and it had everything we needed for the week. The only criticism I have is that there were not enough places to hang towels or wet bathing suits, etc.
Followed the instructions and had no problems. The room is exactly like the pictures, it’s pretty small but worth it. It did feel humid in there at times but it’s okay. The view was the best, they have chairs for you to take down to the beach. Although the curtain was broken and the sliding door gave me some trouble at times, I would stay here again.
Was great had everything we needed and was local to everything we needed to have within walking distance
We stayed here for a family vacation with my partner, his mom,and my two kids,The location is fantastic, being super close to the beach, and we appreciated the provided coolers and beach chairs. However, there were a few downsides. The traffic noise at night can be quite loud, so if we stay here again, we’ll definitely choose a higher floor or a room on the beach side.
The towels were new and clean, but the shower switch was broken, and there was an odd smell in the shower. Unfortunately, one of the plates in the kitchen was cracked, and it broke while I was using it, which caused a minor cut. Some of the drinking glasses also had marks on them, which wasn’t very pleasant. The beds were uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Despite the issues, the proximity to the beach is a big plus. I might consider staying here again, but only on a higher floor to avoid the loud traffic.

Very comfortable and clean
Affordable and convenient.
Can’t contact property manage. No room for one night until in the morning. My kids so disappointing.
Condo was ok. Nothing more than a hotel room with a small studio kitchen. Overpriced for a city view.
We have stayed in Waikiki numerous times, but never down this way on the beach.
The ilikai is hidden gem of a property that feels secluded from the busyness. The property has two great pools, restaurants and shops - and a short walk to Hilton Hawaiian village brings more options for dining and shopping. The shopping mall is also very walkable.
1417 at the Ilikai was perfect for my family - 2 adults and 2 kids. The unit was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The two beds were comfortable as was the sofa bed. We did not find the street to be too noisy - probably because we were so tired after our daytime adventures! The one main closet was big enough for all of our belongings. One thing we felt was missing was some hooks or additional bars to hang towels and wet swim wear in the bathroom.
Laundry facilities were easy to find and use.
We had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again.
The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach, shopping, and adventure.
