Grubby, mold in shower, ancient appliances, with a fridge so loud, it drowned out the noise of the massive diesel generator, which was outside in the parking lot, that was needed to temporarily power the elevators for the entire week of our stay. We understand that the hotel did the best they could to keep everything running, but the suite itself needs a reno, and the traffic noise is profound
Great room, felt very clean and had cute decor. Loved the well equipped kitchen. Plenty of clean soft towels! Good water pressure and temperature in the shower! I very much appreciated the door code system with easy checkout. The building itself is great with shops on the main floor. Nice location, from the lanai you have a view of the Ala Moana street below. Would definitely stay again!
Great location ! Beautiful hotel overall couldve been a little cleaner but didnt mind bed was comfy . Plumbing in the bathroom makes ALOT of wierd noises and gets clogged frequently other than that great price for what it was
Great condo, awesome property and wonderful location. Highly recommend. Just bring a sleeping / eye mask b/c the 5:30am sun shines in from the east and/or recommend property owner invest in some black-out curtains. :) Overall, would definitely book again in a heartbeat.
The condo was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed, extremely clean and the perfect location. The hotel that the condo is in has everything you need including a cafe, restaurant and a market for last minute needs. We rented a car and parked in the marina garage the entire time and it was painless and easy. I would definitely come and stay again.
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Ilikai. The location suited my needs very well. The apartment was very nice and clean. The Property Management Co. went out of their way to be helpful. Overall it was a very good experience. The unit faces the street, so it is quite noisy. It did not bother me, but it may some.
We enjoyed the spaciousness of the condo and were aware that we were on the noisy side of the building so no complaints there.
However, the condo is overdue for a refresh (needs painting, the fridge should be replaced, no covering on bed other than a blanket, etc).
The management company were gracious and promptly rectified the issues within their control (provided us with replacements for the very worn frying pans, gave us new glasses as there were only 2 mismatched ones in the condo and replaced the mismatched cutlery and broken cork screw and replaced dull knives). A dish rack for hand washed items should be added to the kitchen and would reduce dependence on a very noisy (cheap) dishwasher.
The lanai was spacious and the condo was bright due to large windows.
Security was very responsive to complaints of smokers and very loud music next door.
There was good storage but a shelf unit in the closet was broken and should be replaced.
While most of the condo was clean it looked like all the vents are long overdue for cleaning.
We would be happy to return to the Ilikai but not in this unit unless these deficiencies are addressed but would be happy to deal with this management company in the future.
The condo was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised because it was a last minute booking. Everything was as advertised. I would definitely stay again.
