The location is an easy walk to the beach and dining. The views from the apartment were great. The communication with the owners was smooth.
Location and accessibility is great. Housekeeping was average. Had plumbing issues during the week long stay that were repaired promptly
Overall Stay
The apartment is on the 36th floor with a beautiful mountain view. While it’s located inside a hotel building, it is privately owned, so it does not include typical hotel services such as daily housekeeping. The unit is older and has some dated furniture and appliances. For example, the toaster oven works only partially, and there are a few other minor wear-and-tear issues.
Cleanliness
Cleanliness is reasonable for a private rental — not up to hotel standards, but acceptable for a comfortable stay.
Amenities
The apartment has a kitchen with all the essentials for cooking at home, except for a full-size oven. The Wi-Fi is excellent — around 300 Mbps — which is great if you need to work during your stay. Complimentary parking is included for guests of this specific unit, and that’s a major advantage since parking in the building normally costs around $90 per night. The parking garage is in the same building, with direct elevator access.
Location
It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach (Waikiki), with cafés, small shops, and a Target store within walking distance.
Communication
From my personal perspective, I would have preferred slightly faster communication. All interaction was handled via email through Expedia, which felt a bit outdated and inconvenient compared to modern in-app messaging. Response times were generally within a few hours, but occasionally I had to wait longer. I understand that hosts have their own schedules, but in time-sensitive situations
The room was comfortable and located in a great area, close to the Waikiki strip. The parking was very convenient and a huge bonus with unlimited access. The room itself was as advertised. The kitchen utensils and pots needed to be washed before we were comfortable using them. The water pressure from 8-10pm is quite limited (not the host's fault) but takes some getting used to. The communication was great! The view was spectacular!
Excellent amenities and the proximity to the beach is very close by. The staff is very attentive.
Wonderful views of the Ko’olau Mountains!
Our family of four stayed for a week and the condo worked great. It was tight with two big teens but compared to the other places I saw, it was a good space. The balcony view is fantastic (we were on 36th floor - it wasn’t clear from the post if it was a generic posting for all the condos or the one we were in specifically). We arrived early and couldn’t drop off our bags but the front desk of the hotel in the building was able to take them for 5 per bag so that was good. Having the parking pass came in handy - we weren’t going to bother with a car but changed our mind and we were glad to have it. Pool and outdoor area was nice. Quick walk to the beach - go left for snorkeling on Queens beach or go right if you want to be in the waves. I was hoping for beach chairs but they didn’t really have much but they didn’t say they would so I can’t fault them. There were a couple of old camping chairs and some torn up mats and a broken Boogie board - but again, they didn’t say they would have it.There are Is a convenience store in the building and one a half block away. There was a supermarket a 15 minute walk away. The Twin Fin is a couple blocks away and is great for drinks or food One review said it was next to a sketchy area - I didn’t get that impression at all - it was all touristy and crowded and fine. Be aware that it’s managed by a rental agency so communication isn’t as direct as with an owner but it was fine - they got back to us right away about any questions.

The unit is perfect, home away from home with all the necessities. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and shops, not to mention the pool and free parking.
The property was as advertised. It was comfortable and surprisingly quiet at night given the location. The folding beach chairs were much appreciated. The location is excellent: close to great restaurants on Kapahulu and attractions in Waikiki.
Loved the free and available parking. Absolutely breathtaking view. Clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is slightly sketchy to one side of the building but it gets better 2 blocks away. Communication with rental office wasn’t as fast as one hoped. Response to our questions were anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
Good location, clean, full kitchen, Toto toilet. As advertised, no surprises. Would stay again.
My husband and I stayed for 7 days in this unit and parking was included. We never had a problem finding a spot each night. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. This included a small coffee maker (buy your own filters) toaster, dishes and pans to cook with, to name a few.
We checked out at 9:50am I enjoyed my stay
Property location was great.
This was our first time staying in Oahu and we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay than here. We got a gorgeous view of the mountains and the city, the place was clean and spacious. Staff members were more than welcoming to us. Highly recommended!!!!!
We have stayed in several VRBO condos over the years. This one overall was the nicest. There were a few small things that could be addressed but overall, very pleasant. The AC seemed to be new and worked very well. The flooring and cabinets are nicely upgraded. It is overall much more pleasant than the Banyon The view was very nice. We would happily stay here again.
Got upgraded to a different but better room last minute due to an emergency.
Wonderful stay, beautiful view, equipped with all essentials, great communication with the property owners & had very clear instructions for check in/out! I’ll be booking here again!
Overall, had a great stay at this property, especially at the rate that we got it at. Host was very responsive although I wish they could have been a little flexible with check in time, but I guess they had to go by the book...
Unit is great- the location, the view from the 36th floor, the free parking, etc. BBQ area with gas grills by the pool area was very nice, although some were not igniting (not an issue with the host, but please let the building manager know).
Kitchen had enough tableware, cooking utensils etc and everything was exceptionally clean. There is no conventional oven in this unit so you can't heat frozen pizzas, so it would have been nice to have a toaster oven (there is a very nice conventional pop-up toaster). It was nice to have a full roll of paper towels and new sponge and dishwasher. Just as a suggestion, if the host could provide some plastic wrap and aluminum foil, that would have been really nice.
The microwave and fan above the electric grill area were broken, but there is a large tabletop microwave so microwaving was not an issue.
Bathroom area was very nice too, but just another tiny suggestion, I really would change the shower curtain rings since they were all very heavily rusted. It really detracts from such a beautiful bathroom and would be an easy fix.
Overall, wonderful property, highly recommended, and would stay again if we have the chance. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
This is an excellent place to stay inWAIKIKI - easy to get to
with great access to the beach shops resturants- we were
there to visit family so had to get in and out which was easy and the free parking was terrific. The unit had a great view was clean efficient worked well being on the 36th floor was also great . we would stay again
We enjoyed a week long vacation near Waikiki
Visiting my son who lives in Kailua, this was the perfect spot to use as my home base. Close enough to the beach and shopping to walk, easy parking for the rental car I needed to spend time with my son, lovely pool and views, comfortable beds….my stay was a perfect mixture of being a tourist (island tour, Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, whale watching) and visiting my son! Would gladly stay here again!
Convenient location. free parking was a plus and a beautiful Mauka view. Instructions in room needs updating (it referred to a yellow parking pass and yellow access card). Also, I took a picture of the parking pass before checking out so that I wouldn’t have to retrieve it when exiting parking garage (this should be included in the checkout instructions. The instructions also referred to a “lock box” which we did not find. Bathroom had black mold in shower, floor grout dirty and fan dusty. The king size bed had queen size flat sheet and blanket. Though a clothes iron was provided, there was no ironing board. Also, the coffee maker was rusted and stained.
Despite all these small issues, I would still recommend to friends and family.
Mahalo.

The vacation rental was very clean and well appointed. The view from the balcony was amazing since we were on the 36th floor. All the elevators were really fast and everyone very helpful. The pull out bed was doable and I slept well. The location was good and close to the beach.
Nice stay in luminous apartment in gray location at Waikiki. We had all what we needed to enjoy the time in the island. Views are fantastic.
The property management was unfriendly, and when we arrived, we were greeted by a list of what not to do - not a great atmosphere to start a vacation. The list included a statement, "We do not provide customer service." Really? The apartment was reasonably clean but not that well stocked compared to other VRBO places we have stayed at. The complex has four elevators, one of which was out of order, and the service elevator(s?) was being used by the contractors, so there were great delays getting up and down in the building, which wasted a lot of time. The location was close to the beach, but we were surprised at how the section of Waikiki around the hotel has aged and how the area is in need of some major updating. I think the major attraction of the apartment is that it is close to the beach, but overall staying here was not the best experience for my family.
