Very comfortable close to the store and restaurants!!
The property is located in nearby businesses, quite neighborhood and friendly environment.
This stay was an absolute steal for the property - pictures do not do it justice! Amazing location and such an affordable price!!! Such cute decor too! Only thing is that the floors were not super clean when we got there but nothing that really bothered us considering we were at the beach every day and the sand was inevitable. Absolutely loved our stay here and will be back next time for sure!!
I stayed with my family for 1 month and it was perfect walking distance to the beach and all the wonderful shops in wakiki. Everything was very clean and easy to cook meals.
The apartment is in the best possible location in the middle of Waikiki and only a 5-10 minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The next bus stop with all major lines is a less than 5 minute walk. There are also a lot of shops and foodtrucks nearby, it is a very touristy area. If you want to be in the middle of everything, this is exactly the right place. This means that it can also be pretty noisy at night though.
The apartment itself is very spacious, has a great kitchen, big table and living room and is very beautifully decorated so we felt very at home. The balcony is great to have meals outside and offers a really nice mountain view. There is also an extra wardrobe room for clothes and other stuff. The living room is perfect for inviting friends since it has plenty of space and many chairs plus a comfortable couch.
One big disadvantage is that one of the rooms only has half a wall and there is also a gap in the wall between the other two rooms, so privacy is pretty limited. As mentioned, you can hear everything from outside and it is also not possible to darken the rooms, but we got used to it.
There was a bit of a communication problem when my roommate moved in. I had informed the manager at what time she would move in, but apparently no one knew about it, so she had to wait in front of the building with all her suitcases for two hours until one of the tenants found her by chance.
Unfortunately, the apartment was not really clean when we moved in even though we had paid a cleaning fee, so we had to clean it ourselves. Then the washing machines in the building were not working for about a month which is a problem when you live there permanently.
Another thing to know, the neighbors are very strict and don't accept noise after 10 pm.
So overall there were a few issues, but I would still 100% recommend this apartment. You will definitely not find something better in that location for such an affordable price. We saw a lot of apartments from other students in Honolulu and this one was definitely one of the nicest.
