The location was great. The unit wa very dirty. The floor in the unit was swept but probably hasn't neen mopped in months. The drapes and lamp shade had stains all over them. The bathroom needs to be renovated. The shower/bath was frightening. The bsth had months of soap scum and the shower tiles are gross. One of the cushions on the chairs had a blood or feces stain on it which we washed when we did laundry. The appliances were very clean and pretty new. Liked that the sink was separate from toilet and tub. Appreciated the abundance of towels that were left. Unit needs more storage for clothes and toiletries and more hangers. The balcony chairs were uncomfortable but we never sat on it because the view of buildings was not the greatest. We did not use the pool because it looked like it needed to be refinished and wasn't very inviting. The unit needs to be properly cleaned, repaired, painted and the bathroom is a gut job, including the floors. Great location. Greatviews from the roof top but not the unit. The whole property in general needs an upgrade.
For the price it was ok! Elevators being "cranky" had to use the stairs half the time - glad we were on the 3rd floor. Hula's a little noisy but music stopped by 10pm Sunday. I chose WGH due to location and it was only a couple of nights. Don't know that I would have stayed for a week. It worked out ok.
Our biggest complaint was the unit is over a very bizy bar, so at night you hear the loud music until 2 am, could not get any sleep, also had a very big problem with the amount of homeless, or lack of support for the homeless for such a wealthy area!
Great location, easy access and good accommodation.
Wonderful location, well maintained. Whole process was seamless
The location is excellent! There is parking nearby and a really fun bar on the second floor of the property. Having a lanai is always great and the rooftop lounge area has a great view! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check in we found no toilet paper in the unit, no bathroom fan or any fan in the room to circulate air through the studio other than the cold AC in the corner, and a moldy vent above the shower. The shower/tub would form a pool while showering, our ankles were under the water by the end of a shower. The mini fridge did not have a freezing component so we could not refreeze our reusable ice packs.
Very nice room, had everything we needed. Location was perfect and sundeck was beautiful to finish the day. Had good public connections to the east of the island, not so much to the central mountain ranges but that was obvious when we booked it so not the owner's fault. Obviously also nice if you enjoy your days at the beach which we didn't do that much.Overall, very good stay here. Mahalo!
It was so great to be near the beach and walkable to restaurants in Waikiki but also far enough away from the chaos to be relaxed. My boyfriend doesn’t normally sleep well but it was quiet enough and helpful to have the AC/ fan for white noise. It’s definitely no fills though so don’t go expecting the Ritz.
Communication was fantastic and staff very friendly. Room is very well maintained.
This location ws ideal for our stay in Honolulu. We paid for a parking pass thru the link they sent us so it was super convenient in the basment of the hotel. Laundry available. Would definietely rent the same plae again. Walked to the ocean.
The studio is really small, smaller than expected. Great location though. A few more places to put things up, eg near the bed is really needed. Beds are very soft. Airco is extremely loud.
Unit is just what you need for your Hawaiian vacation unit is neat and clean ,
It is clean, but extremely small with limited space.
This was a great find for us, compact, older but tidy, in room coffee, microwave, dishes and stove, fridge were very convenient. The location is close to the beach, stores, Starbucks, abc stores, restaurants, and overlooking the Honolulu zoo, and walking distance to the aquarium as well. The 10th storey deck had amazing views with tables and chairs to enjoy.
Great location at the zoo end of Waikiki. 5 minute walk to the beach. A little out dates room and lacked a few supplies (pots, hangers etc)
Mark was available and accommodating. Place was perfect!
We chose to stay here because it was super close to the Waikiki Shell, which therefore it was conveniently close by to the concert we went to! However, we had trouble with parking. :( Being that we booked our room last minute, all the parking was full. I feel that every guest should have 1 stall reserved per room at least if they’re driving. We either had to park at the zoo (not free of course) or park one block away which was inconvenient, especially if you have suitcases and stuffs to carry. Overall, the rooms are very comfortable and their customer service was great. I also love that they are pet friendly.
