My girlfriend and I had a lovely time staying here. We had every amenity we could ask for, and we could walk to anything on the Waikiki strip within a few minutes
International Place is right across the street. Just follow your nose and You’ll be at the beach!
This property compared to the online photos is not at all accurate. It’s sort of like a dating app where a potential match uses a photo from 10 years earlier and 50 lbs lighter. The sofa and area rug are both very sold and worn out. There’s no comfortable place to relax while watching tv. The exhaust over the stove has sticky oil which has hardened dripping down. The kitchen is setup with dishes, pots, bowls and utensils. Our last full day there the water was shut off without any notice. We learned by meeting someone in the elevator that the water is off the first Wednesday of every month until 3:30-4:30 in the afternoon yet Ali’i said they were unaware of this. Had we been informed we could have prepared or chosen a different location to stay for our vacation all together. Because we requested we were refunded for one day the rental fee, nothing from VRBO. Anyone considering this unit, garbage trucks and police activity will be heard and seen everyday! It’s very noisy location! Garbage trucks will wake you up every morning and car horns are obsessive. Reviews, free parking and location are why we chose this unit. Any future trip back we will stay in a more reputable and quieter hotel on Waikiki. Unfortunately VRBO doesn’t let you post photos, otherwise we’d share the true look and feel of this condo.

Ideal location. About a block from International Market Place. Parling with washer and dryer. Some cautions, only one key Fob to access elevator. Stay together and not an issue. Park tight. We were stuck with a large SUV. Got in and out, just tight. Carteful with sliding door between bedroom. It blocks bathroom door. Someone inside opening the door can knock the sliding door off. Need two people to put back. One to realign the top screw to door. Another to lift up. We did it easily.
I love this location and the amenities. It was super laid-back and easy to get in to. They supplied us with a ton of towel and extra blankets. The washer and dryer saved us! I do, however, wish the pool was heated and there was a jacuzzi. But those things are out of our lovely host’s control. Would stay again there anytime!
Loved our stay. It is a great location. Easy access to everything. The instructions from the owner were easy to follow for a great check in. Highly recommend.

This is my second time booking on Waikiki with Ali'i Beach Rentals. We loved the convenient location, king bed, kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Disney+, spacious rooms, parking, quietness, safe area at night, and security requiring to badge in at every entrance. Everything worked out for us. The neighbor guy was also friendly. Wished it was a bit more sanitized (dusty, gritty/sticky knobs, old curtains, few small bugs, old couch, etc.), but honestly it didn't bother us since I expected that level of cleanliness/dirt -it was still livable and comfortable enough. It was a nice surprise to find other non-guaranteed amenities: beach umbrella, boogie-surf-board, beach chairs, ice packs, travel cooler, and airbed. Thank you so much for providing these items during our stay.

This is my second time booking at this Place, we will always stay here whenever were at the island, the location is perfect, its clean and have everything we need, there are beach umbrella to use, beach chairs. Checkin process was easy. Parking was great (small cars suggested). Condo was walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach but not on a main street. Condo was clean and roomy enough for us. We had a little trouble turning off shower faucet, it was a little loose. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Right in the heart of Waikīkī! Location could not have been better!
Walking distance to Waikiki Beach and shopping. Location was great and quick response from property manager. Furnishing is a bit outdated and sparse. Dryer needed to start a few times before clothes were dry. Sufficient for a short stay.

Not enough glassware and cutlery. Recreation area on rooftop was closed during entire stay due to gusty winds. We could not use the pool and gym there. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the apartment.
Great location, shares the same block as the famous marugame udon just on the opposite side right in front of the ala wai canal. The bed(s) were actually really comfortable, and all the sheets and pillows were sanitized! (you can tell when the pillows have been cleaned.)
Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for the week! Love the small lanai so when we cooked the door could remain open and the smells could leave and not enter the full apt. Washer and dryer was amazing to have, literally the reason we booked this home. towels, beach towels, baskets, hangers, and beach supplies were also provided for our stay.
Only downfall, which aren’t too bad,
- limited living room seating. the sofa wasn’t too spacious for 3 people to sit, and the wooden stools were fine just not if we wanted to sit for a long time to stay comfy.
- windy windy weather which made the sliding doors RATTLE! can’t control the weather so this may never happen to you, but it was so hard to sleep when the doors would rattle so loud!
overall 4.8/10! I would definitely book this place again. it was super quiet and relaxing!
The stay was without any issue related to the unit. The water was shut off for about 7 hours one day almost as a regular maintenance issue. We could not sit at or by the pool for 6 of the 14 days due to high winds.

The location is central and very convenient. The apartment is great. It was clean, having a washer and dryer and well-equipped kitchen was very useful, and rooftop access, views, beach stuff (chairs, beach towels), A/C, and parking spot were all great. One inconvenience, which is more about the building than the apartment, is that the building had to shut off the water for repairs for 3 out of our 8 days. The couch in the living room has seen better days. But otherwise everything worked well and our contact person was very responsive and helpful! Would recommend.
My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this property. It had a great location, easy access to Waikiki without the crowds, and the restaurants in the area. The property was clean, had free parking, and a washer and dryer in the unit. The only downside that I may mention is that you do hear a lot of street noise. Overall, if we plan on staying in the Waikiki area, we would definitely consider staying at this property again.
Nice clean and a great location. Having a parking stall was an added bonus and with the cost and availability of parking makes this unit all the better.
Centrally located in Waikiki area. However, the condo itself was outdated and dirty... sand/dirt on floors, hair in shower, rough sheets. Did not appear to have been cleaned from prior guest's stay.
The unit had all the items we needed for our stay. I was very glad to have the designated / reserved parking space.
The shower fixture was almost impossible to turn on, it had a single lever that needed to be pulled out to start water flow. The lever made this almost impossible, it put the valve in a bind. We found that we could turn it on using out fingertips at the circular base of the handle to pull it straight out. I told the management company about it, hopefully this will be resolved. I would stay here again.
Overall great location and 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach. The apartment is in great condition and has most of the things needed for a few days of stay. The only downfall is that you can hear outside noise on a busy night and the TV is quite small.
