Great property, and great property manager. Bill does a really good job. Everything really exceeded my expectations. Five stars. Can highly recommend.
I want to keep this unit a secret because we want it available whenever we want to go to Waikiki. it is very well appointed and an excellent location. Perfect unit for my husband and I. Check-in / out was very easy. Communicate with Bill was excellent. We can't wait to return.
Pros:- The location is great and views are gorgeous - exactly as shown!- Very affordable; we even booked an extra night in order to check out in the evening instead of the morning- There is also an indoor seating area that does not appear to be in any of the pictures; it was very cute and we used it often- The shower is nice and spacious for one- There's a chest full of books and a closet full of beach supplies :) Kitchen had everything we needed and they even provided laundry detergent- Bed is quite comfortable- Manager is very friendly and responsiveCons:- Neither the bathroom nor balcony door would lock properly (not a safety issue since it is several floors up, but not ideal)- The adjustable overhead lights make something between a low buzzing and a high-pitched squeal (the set in the entrance was the worst). Since there were other lights, we simply didn't use them other than in the bathroom. (This may only be an issue if you have sensitive hearing)- If you're tall, you'll have to duck in the shower as the max water height is around six feet
Great time, great location!! Deff stay here again
This property worked well for our stay. The price was reasonable, the view was acceptable, Bill was a GREAT Host, the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is fantastic for swimming as it is a short walk to the beach. There are many restaurants, ABC Stores and shopping...etc within walking distance. We really did enjoyed our stay. Now for issues one may wish to be aware of, first off, the street noise, talk about a city that never sleeps, the roadway directly between the zoo and the condo is terrible. There is considerable road noise throughout the day and way into the night. Motorcycles, very loud, Cars very loud, and the one that angered me the most.......Firetrucks tooting their horn for no apparent reason as they drove by. All unnecessary in my opinion. The place is in need of updating as the range top has only one useable burner. The kitchen utensils are pretty rough with knives that are not scarp. It was difficult cutting most anything. Now, that said, we would stay again. These are just items we feel should be shared......to be fair.
Owner is very responsive to communication and helpful. Apartment clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Amazing location with great views. I would go back again.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Location : directly opposite the Zoo! we chose it for the view of Diamond head and the sea, this made the decision to book for us, it has a bar/ restaurant in the building with a burger restaurant downstairs, Dennys to the right and 2 ABC
The location was great, 1/2 block off the beach and walking distance to everything the beach area has. Had a lightbulb go out and I texted the caretaker and it was fixed that day. Will be back and highly recommend this property for 2 people.
Perfect location right near the beach. Unit is fully stocked with everything you need.
Perfect location across from the Honolulu Zoo with a bit of a view of the ocean and a great view of Diamond Head. Close to everything, much within walking distance. Unit was a bit dated but everything worked fine. It was a nice surprise that the Hula Bar is located just off of the second floor of the hotel. A real fun spot to meet people and listen to live music. We highly recommend this location!
Was a great clean and well decorated space. It was such a pleasure working with the owner/management. Would highly recommend and would stay there again in a heart beat.
The place was perfect for our stay. We were able to vie Diamond Head on the lanali I in the morning while having coffee and then walk to the beach. The unit is older but we came for the views and the local attractions so it was fine. Shower was perfect and we did not find the noise a problem. Bill was a great host and we appreciated all he did for us. Hope to return soon
Air-conditioned always onway if want to sit out cardboard always fell down its annoying my husband found cockroach .ounderneath the
We were very pleased. Check-in was simple and the building has many amenities to utilize. The host was very kind, the AC had and issue right before our arrival and Bill installed a temporary unit before we arrival. We loved the location and ocean views. The park nearby had parakeets, and many other birds. The swimming and snorkling from the pier to the aquarium is awesome, many fish species and swam with a sea turtle. Very pleased with the kitchen, water pressure, plush towels and comfy bed.
Welocation.Enjoyed par
Have stayed there several times, always pleasantly. Close to the beach, many ABC stores, bus stops, and everything you might need. Rooms are small, but we have always found them quite useable.
Nice stay
Our two-week stay was fantastic. Our host, Bill, was quick to communicate and provided helpful instructions for check-in. The building and facilities were well-maintained, and the staff at the main desk were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was exceptional, with a picturesque view of Diamond Head, the Honolulu Zoo and surrounding park, and the vast expanse of the ocean stretching over Waikiki beach. The room itself was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and had extra beach chairs, umbrella and lanai. Parking nearby was easy to find. We would love stay here again in the future.
We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the restaurants and bars nearby.
Everything was exactly as I hoped it would be. Very relaxing, the lanai is always cool with a nice breeze. The view is amazing, you will not be disappointed, and of course it is so close to the beach. The parking garage has bigger spots than any parking garages I had to visit in Waikiki when out and about. The room was perfect, the hotel itself is clean and well cared for. I cooked breakfast every morning which was so nice to be able to do. ABC is right there for any musubi cravings, gifts to take home, etc. I would highly recommended staying here, and would absolutely stay here again. Top notch. :)
This property is a gem of a find. The lanai faces south, so sunrises in the east over Diamondhead are stunning, as is the moon when visible (we experienced a full moon during our stay). To the east is a nice view of Waikiki beach, waves rolling in and surfers. This location is walkable to everything. The property manager Bill has excellent communication every step of the way. He is attentive to the cleanliness of the room, which was wonderfully accommodating. Other reviewers talked about the small bathroom, but we thought it was perfect and exactly what we needed. We rented a car to get offsite a few times, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It is crowded but worth walking the beach and to the Waikiki Beach Walk Plaza. The only drawback is the noise level from the street below the lanai--buses, shuttles, trucks being unloaded (ABC next door), surfers who park in the zoo parking lot, parties happening in the park adjacent to the zoo. Quiets down around 1p or 2p and starts up right before sunrise. All in all, it is a great value for the views.
This rental is very decent for the price and located right next to Waikiki Beach so you can walk out your door and be right there! Excellent location but bit loud. Not too bad. Having your own lanai with a view is awesome. Bring your own shampoo. Staff at the front desk are very friendly and let you stash luggage before/after check in for free which is very nice. TV was glitchy. Kitchenette was nice. Highly recommend for the price.
Great spot, close to everything
We were surprised at the close quarters. You have wonderful pictures and we thought it would be a bit roomier than it was. The bed was comfortable, the shower was wonderful, in fact the bathroom was tiny but obviously new. The balcony was nice and the amenities [beach chairs, umbrella] were very welcome. I didn't realize it would be quite so noisy at night and the A/C ran constantly. Perhaps it had to, but when we turned it up to 74 to get it a little warmer in the morning [we were here in March] it just kept giving us the same air temperature as it did at 68 degrees. Or so it seemed. Also the stove burners are about gone, they only heat up on high. And that takes a while to melt butter! But all in all, it was comfortable and located close to Waikiki beach.
Great little place with lots of great items for our trip
Great location in Waikiki near zoo, queens beach and conveniences
Had a wonderful stay here for 11 nights. Wonderful views from the balcony, watch sunrise from room or walk a short distance, stop at the coffee shop/abc store grab a coffee and watch sunrise from beach pier as it rises above diamond head. 10th floor has a viewing deck for sunrise and beautiful sunsets. Beach, restaurants, shopping and lots of local attractions within walking distance. You can also have food/drinks delivered from area stores. If you're looking for a place to enjoy your vacation this is it.
Can't wait to go back!!🤗🤗
Maybe throw in a pillow, I missed mine.
Superb location 1 block right off Waikiki Beach! Very clean with comfortable bed and good Air Cond
Street parking is difficult, so buy a parking pass if yiu have a car
I had some of the best city life and ocean views during my stay. The zoo, beach, and local businesses were all within walking distance; literally across the street. Hula Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the same building. The property manager was very prompt at answering any questions. Thank you for making this such a memorable holiday experience.
