First time staying at the Sunset property. While a bit dated, it offered everything we could possibly need for a two week stay. The place was clean, close to everything and the 6th floor recreation deck with pool was lovely. Property managers are always friendly, accommodating and helpful. We love booking with Kaina Hale, and will be back next year!
Great property close to beach.
Easy access to beach. Free parking was a huge plus. As well as washing machine & dryer.
The condition of the unit was very disappointing. The blinds were in disrepair, the drapes in the bedroom was very worn with light filtering through, carpet stains and multitude of nicks & peeling paint.

Great location and suite facing front with view. Suite had many stains on carpets and drapes. Had beach chairs which was a plus. Outfitted well. Some damage to walls doors and carpets but didn’t affect our stay. Location close to beach and restaurants
Great location! Building felt secure. Suite was specious
The beds were awful and the blankets and sheets were too small for the bed so they kept coming off and not enough towels.

Overall the unit was ok. The view was as expected based on pictures. Property management was kind and easy to work with before and during our stayThe unit needs to be updated for how much they charge. I could have stayed with hotel and had almost the same amenities 1.) Beach towels, there were 4 to use and all different shapes and sizes. 4 LARGE towels would have been nice for a week long stay2.) Bed Pillows, they were flat! This is a very inexpensive update you can do 2x a year based on how often this unit gets rented out. 3.) Bed linens were stained, again, replace and update4.) Curtains in bedroom have holes in them and are stained5.) Outdoor toys/equipment was a nice bonus, but the items were all pretty trashed, we used a boogie board once and it fell apart. Storing inside would be better.6.) Update kitchen items, would have loved a Keurig and an air fryer, otherwise it was ok. Happy to have coffee filters and some basics like aluminum foil available. Overall we would stay at the location again but maybe not rent this particular unit unless we knew updates had occurred.

It's a nice place and great walking distance to the beach. They have some equipment like boogie boards, fins, stuff like that I feel needs to be replaced. Other than that I would stay here again!
We stayed 30 days and were quite comfortable here. It had everything we needed. Great location and at the quieter end of Waikiki.
