We had a great time. Make sure you don’t close your balcony though. We closed it and it locked behind us. We even went outside our condo and swam with the sea turtles. They’re there daily. Also, don’t forget your water shoes. They’re a must!
The pictures do not lie, the views are great. The location is also pretty good, right down the street are a ton of restaurants and places to shop. The beach though was super rocky, so be prepared to walk a little to get to a more sandy portion. When we got there we had to pay an additional to park ourselves. But parking was super Convenient right on the property, we parked on the upper level and it was a little tight. The bed was super hard. They gave us two towels for the whole week and told us to wash them if we needed more. We insisted we wanted more so they did bring us two more. While only giving us one thing of laundry detergent, so we had to ask for more of that as well. So be prepared to pay some resort fees without the actual “resort” benefits. No housecleaning available. The room was a little smaller than I anticipated but it worked for the two of us. So great location, okay room. But it was cheaper than some of the other options so you get what you pay for.
Very impressed with view! Even better than photos! Only one elevator worked which would be only complaint-otherwise great place. We’d stay here again for sure.
We loved our stay here - we really didn’t know what to expect being our first trip to Waikiki but the location was excellent. We could literally walk or bike everywhere in Waikiki and the beach was literally just down below. The room was clean and exactly as pictured, staff was friendly and courteous.
Easy access to beaches and walking distance to all shopping areas. Best views of the beaches from the lanai. Enjoy the convenience of kitchens and in room washer and dryers. Some units have beach accessories as well. The only place to stay. Prices very competitive to hotels with lesser amminities.
Waikiki Shores is our favorite place to stay in Waikiki. The view from our lanai, easy access to the beach and uncluttered location can't be beat. This little studio on the penthouse of Waikiki Shores was the perfect place for my husband and myself on an anniversary get-away. We loved our stay and will look forward to coming again.
We have stayed at Waikiki Shore in the past and love the awesome views, easy access to beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. PH03 was great!
You definitely can’t beat this view/location..and I would come back in a heartbeat
I think the mattress needs replacement and the 2 dining chairs need new fabric…

The view from this property is beyond words. So gorgeous! To wake up to hearing the ocean, watching sunrises and sunsets calms even the most stressed out person. The beach is literally steps away from the room after you take the elevator downstairs. Location is central to lots of places in Waikiki. Space was just enough for 2 people. Something to note, housekeeping will not clean your room every day (at least they didn’t during our stay) but that didn’t matter to us. The front desk or security overnight can help with whatever you need. Love this place!
Good studio with great location right on the ocean. So much to do and see and this property was a great home base!
