The pool and outdoor activities area was shut down, we were never told this- if we were we definitely would have stayed elsewhere. I booked this property for our stay months in advance. After a flight delay, we arrived late at night to find out the code that was given to us to enter the condo did not work. I called the emergency number and no answer. After a second call the person told me that Koko Properties changed our reservation to a different condo. The condo smelled of a foul odor and was in desperate need of a remodel. We called once Koko opened the next morning and they did change our condo. It was a step up from the previous condo but nothing like the condo we booked. It was dirty…mildew all over the shower, the kitchen sink hadn’t been cleaned, and more importantly a desperate need for remodeling. The person at Koko that helped me said that if I didn’t like this condo the only option would be to cancel our reservation. Koko never apologized so this tells me this is the way they operate. I reached out to VRBO and they contacted Koko about the situation. Koko had the nerve to tell them they upgraded us. What a joke!! Look at Koko Properties on Yelp. I wish I had before I booked. This is common practice for them. Definitely was a bait and switch.

I'd just book with the actual condo (Waikiki Banyan). Then you would get the help you need.

My friends and I stayed here for a couple nights after going to a wedding at Aulani. The place was clean and plenty of fresh linens. Definitely not as up to date as other condos at the banyan, but did the job. The only strange thing was our host didn’t send check-in info until really late in the day… and that was only after I had messaged them past our check-in time, to which I was asked if I wanted to book the place? Assume it was a bot and guess I’m just used to getting check-in info in advance. Other than that, Waikiki Banyan is always a good location to stay.

The property location was great. The cleanliness of the condo was okay (some areas under furniture are dusty). The only complaint I have is the lack of communication from the management group. The parking pass was missing from the room. This should be checked before the next reservation. Even after repeated calls and messages the first day of our reservation, we received NO response from the property manager. We gave the benefit of the doubt that it was Thanksgiving but we still received no response the following day!! Luckily one of the front desk employees helped us make contact and was able to have them provide a parking pass. No apologies were given even though we had to drive around to park on the street that first night!! Part of the reason for selecting this condo was that parking is included. It added unnecessary stress and then we received no apology or compensation for our trouble. This is really my only main issue with this property.

Our stay at this property was excellent. Just as described on the listing. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Easy access to get on Freeway. Walking distance to Waikiki and the International Market Place.
