The Master Suite is located on the ocean side of the second floor. It features panoramic ocean views, a private lanai (balcony), Air Conditioning, an updated spacious bathroom with a soaker tub with ocean views and a queen size bed. In addition, the second floor features a sleeping loft with two twin beds, a/c and a full bathroom. Your Hawaiian hale (home) also includes a spacious living room, fully equipped open kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms (1 king, 2 twins) and a full bath with tub/shower on the ground floor. All 3 bedrooms and sleeping loft have AC. Please note living room area does not have AC, but 2 sliding doors that allow the trade winds to enter the home.
This home includes an outside Hot/Cold enclosed shower, free WI-FI Internet access, cable sports channels and HI-Def Smart Flat Screen TV. 57-501, on the right/east, and 57-503, on the left/west, have identical floor plans.
Fire up the charcoal grill and sip your evening drink as you view spectacular sunsets from your outdoor dining area. Step down from your deck to a generous lawn area overlooking the beach.
Take stairs down to the small sandy beach with reef and tide pools to explore; walk east 100 yards to the rightand find a swimming area and keyhole opening to the ocean; continue walking east another 100 yards to the west end of beautiful Kawela Bay.
You won’t forget your experience on the North Shore with stunning ocean views; watching whales and giant surf in the winter, swimming and snorkeling in the summer, and soaking in beautiful sunsets year-round.

We enjoyed our stay, the home is very peaceful. We enjoyed hanging out at the beach. There’s swimmabe beaches, food trucks and grocery stores close by. Waterfalls, Koloa Ranch, Dole Plantations, botanical gardens all things you can do within diving distance. A stay in the country is what we needed to reguvenste.

This was the perfect home for our family of four (kids 9 and 4) and my parents and my in-laws for 8 total. Location. Can’t beat it. I wanted to be near water and this home has a beautiful view and water access from your backyard. The sound of the waves at night was amazing. You can’t really swim in that area but you are close to so many things to do it’s a quick drive to turtle bay or shark cove for swimming. Also close to restaurants and activities. There are wild cats and chickens that will frequent the backyard, which I actually enjoyed since I have chicken at home. I would hit a Costco or Walgreens on the over from the airport. The local store is more expensive. The house. Nice house and fit all of us perfectly. The upstairs loft was perfect for the kids. I love the outdoor showers to clean up after the beach. The house has a lot of outdoor beach items to use like snorkel gear, beach chairs and sand toys and beach towels. Good laundry area. Good hot water. It was winter so we didn’t really need the AC but I bet it gets hit upstairs, here were AC units. There are some basic cooking items like salt and pepper and oil. There really isn’t any hand soap or toiletries so bring those. TV had a lot of stations and good wi-fi. One tip is that the access to the house from the main road is hard to see, especially if in the dark. There are four units behind a fence and you take a sharp turn to the driveway to the units. The location right on the ocean was amazing. Great sunsets, tidepools with aquatic life you would see in an aquarium, and the constant sound of the waves. The house was a great base for exploring Oahu. Would definitely stay there again.

What an amazing property on the north shore. We had a wonderful stay, saw amazing sunsets, and would stay here again. Only things that I would take into consideration would be the proximity to the road. Traffic could be loud at times. Also the upstairs bathroom never had enough hot water to fill the tub.

We booked this amazing rental to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday. It was a perfect setup for the six adults and the tag along eight year-old. We couldn’t believe how we lucked out with such a beautiful view right next to the beach allowing us Midwesterners to get the full Hawai’i experience. The sound of the waves, the ocean breeze and stunning sunset views each night made our trip such an amazing experience.The owners were very responsive to the few inquiries we had. The location provided us great access to the local sights and sounds on all sides of the island combined with a quiet place to get our day going and settle in each evening. Book this one before someone else does!

The house was perfect for our family! The pictures to this home does not do it justice! It was so comfortable and the ocean front views are amazing! Waking up in paradise every morning was awesome! Overlooking the beautiful ocean! We will definatley be rebooking this place again!

Lovely stay. Homey and comfortable. Would have been even better with air conditioning in the living room kitchen area. Very hot but fans were helpful. Hostess was very accommodating and helpful. Beds were comfortable and linens and towels were good quality.

A reunion with all our kids and grandkids this past July 2024 at Kawela Kai #503 and #501 consisted of 4 families totaling 13 folks. The easy stroll between the 2 houses made it super easy to see each other, spend time on each other’s lanais, barbeque and dine together. The lanai was the best feature with it’s wide expanse and fantastic view of the ocean and sunsets. With eight chairs around the table and ample seating on the bench, all of us could congregate comfortably. The kitchen is well-equipped. Previous renters left various condiments such as salt, pepper, some spices, tea bags, Pam spray, and other dry goods. It’s best to check out the cupboards before you buy anything at the market. The one thing that we found absolutely necessary was to bring or buy a sharp knife/knives! The ones provided were super dull. The front-loading washing machine and dryer were fairly new, full-sized and stacked on each other. Detergent is provided. Salt air takes a toll on beach houses. We contended with hard-to-slide screen doors. Unfortunately for us, new screen doors were installed a day or two after we checked out, but it should benefit future renters. The AC unit in the 2nd floor bedroom in #503 was not working at check-in. We called Celma, our agent at Team Real Estate, who took care of the problem right away. Although it was at the end of her work day on a Friday, she drove to a hardware store, bought a new AC unit and delivered it to our unit. She got a technician to come out the next day to install it. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Celma went above and beyond and we are so grateful for her dedication in meeting her clients’ needs. Thank you, Celma!Note: Summer months bring out the flies! So get a fly swatter and food tents for both indoors and outdoors. Grocery shopping is convenient at Foodland Pupukea--great selection. Food trucks galore along the north shore and in Hale
