Such a beautiful place!80 with trade winds and all the trees and plants dancing.John and Maggie were very attentive to our needs and still respected our privacy.Would definitely stay again given the chance.

Great cottage to stay in. It was clean and well equipped with great ventilation. There was no kitchen range, but there was a nice two burner induction cooktop and a counter top oven (which we did not use). Convenient to beaches, hiking, the National Park, and road to Hana.
Great place out of the way, great communication from manager/owner! Will stay again!
Stayed for three nights in May. Host communicated well and was very responsive. Very private and quiet location close to the start of the Road to Hana. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it!
This place had everything! We stayed for our anniversary and it was perfect. They responded to any questions we had. The bed was so comfortable, and that helped after hiking/ walking all day. Everything was clean and well kept. We would love to book again soon.
Our hosts were terrific. The location is perfect; quiet, a short drive to great restaurants, internet access is good. We’re already booked for next year!
This nice property in the remote town of Haiku suited our needs. The owners were very nice and helpful, and we were also treated to a visit from their friendly dogs. It was a quick visit as we were moving to another part of the island for the rest of our stay. If you want a fairly remote location with fresh fruit trees on the property this might be for you.
We loved the cottage with its large rooms and access to a garden and hot tub area. Well equipped for cooking. The most beautiful part of Maui, close to both the upcountry and the Road to Hana. Oranges and tangerines for picking, too!
A very rare find. This quiet private and peaceful property allows guests to relax as soon as they arrive. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings far more than if we had stayed in a high rise complex.

This property had an ant infestation. As a result we left the verbo within hours of arriving. The Merchant was unhelpful at resolving the situation.
The place was great, they think of everything that you might need in case you forgotten something in your bag. Open living space, very private. Yet you feel an openness to the entire property. This is a wonderful part of the island and gives you access to all the up country. Explorations. Great sleeping, so quiet. We will definitely visit again

We wanted to stay more off the beaten path on Maui and this upcountry cottage was absolutely perfect! It is super convenient for driving the Road to Hana, having dinner at Mama's Fish House and driving to the Summit of Haleakala. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the heavenly rain at night and awakening to the rooster crowing off in the distance. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed having an evening cocktail in the hot tub that looks out towards the ocean. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the cottage and had everything we needed. They also provide beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear. I would love to return to Ualani again someday! If you're looking to avoid congested touristy areas and experience island life for yourself, this is the place!

Great location for all our day trips in the upcountry. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry on-site was a huge plus. 4 miles into Makawao. Would advise arriving during daylight hours. Take the 10mph road signs seriously. Loved the rustling bamboo groves.

This was a great little house for just the 2 of us as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. The hot tub was nice after our days out exploring. Maui was beautiful and the highlight was our drive on the road to Hana. The weather was rainy most of the days but we were really lucky the day we went to Hana. We would highly recommend this rental.

Impressive property, carefully and lovingly maintained with many trees, palm-trees and flowers. The perfect place for any kind of stay on Maui. We felt at home and would love to come back. :-)
We really enjoyed the location of the cottage. Place was clean and hosts are very friendly. The only negative remarks I have is I thought the property was completely private but this is not the case. The cottage owners live on the property at the end of the drive and there is another cottage on the property across the driveway. We had no problems just was not what I thought I was renting.
This cute little house was in a perfect location. It was away from all the hustle and bustle and we were surrounded by beautiful scenery and bamboo. It is really hard turning into the driveway for this specific house, but other than that everything was awesome. Also, this place does not have air conditioning, but does have fans or you can open the windows for a breeze.
Overall this place was perfect and secluded for our honeymoon.
