The location was great and the condo was conveniently organized for our family of 4 but unfortunately, we were disappointed in the kitchen facilities. It was our 3rd rental home in Hawaii in 2 weeks and it was the least equiped. No cutting board for food preparation, no left over salt/pepper, oil for base preparation was available. Also, we found out on the last day that there was a shuttle to the beach, it was never mentionned to us and would have used it had we known.
The unit is very homely. Its as if we are in our own home. There is everything we need!

Condo was clean and provided a good landing spot for our family of four. Location was great- close to a small pool, short walk to beautiful beaches/trails and the amenities of the Turtle Bay resort (separate), and a short drive from some great food trucks. Condo had very basic amenities. The air conditioner in the primary bedroom didn’t work the first night but was quickly replaced. Be aware that the air conditioning units are the in-window type and aren’t powerful enough to cool the upstairs, so the sleeping loft is very stuffy even with the overhead fans going. There was a floor fan upstairs, but it never worked and our kids seemed ok without it, so we didn’t complain about it. Kitchen and bath amenities were very basic compared to other VRBOs we’ve stayed at- only salt/pepper and coffee filters, besides the dishes and silverware . Just be aware if you plan to cook while you’re there. We nearly ran out of toilet paper and there was no tissue paper. The beach chairs looked old and child size so we didn’t use them. Overall the location was the big selling point so we overlooked the other stuff.
Everything was exactly as pictured and expected. Condo was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Wonderfully located to all of our North Shore adventures. Very comfortable unit, very quiet. We had a lovely time. Would recommend to others to stay here, and plan on returning in the future. Thank you!!!
Perfect spot for us. Amenities of turtle bay and close to all the action of the North Shore.

Our family enjoyed staying at Turtle Bay Estates very much. The condo had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the swimming pool nearby. The staff was responsive when we needed assistance with our air conditioning. We hope to stay here again and would definitely recommend!

Condo was clean and nicely remodeled somewhat recently. It slept 4 comfortably with a queen in the one bedroom and twin beds in the loft. There were very few bugs--only a few ants--which is hard to maintain in Hawaii. We did our best to get the cross breeze to maintain a comfortable temperature, but sometimes there wasn't much wind to work with. The AC units are loud and the one in the living room isn't enough to cool that space. The loft can be a hot place to sleep. Walking to Turtle Bay beach is short. Access to walking trails and north shore towns is convenient. Turtle Bay Condos are probably the best place to stay for the money on the North Shore.
