Very nice condo located on the 1st floor. What we liked best was the 2min walk to the beach. It was also very convenient to great restaurants and shops (all walkable). You have to try the 808 deli.
Tom and Karissa's place also had all the beach toys needed. Chairs, cooler and umbrella that came in handy every day. There were boogie boards, and paddle ball games to.
Would definitely stay here again mostly for the location and toys. The unit was great and Karissa did check in with us upon arrival to make sure everything was ok.
Ps, there are so many vrbo's in Kihei it's hard to know if your picking the right one. I looked at some of the other places we were considering while we were there and I am so glad I picked this place.
Tom & Karissa's condo could not have been more perfect for our Maui vacation! The location is right across the street from an amazing beach and there are lots of shops and places to eating walking distance. The suite had everything we needed for our stay and we really enjoyed having BBQs available in the complex.
We would definitely book again!
We have stayed in this condo a few times and as always it is perfect. Everything you could possibly need or want is there from the kitchen to the beach. The bed is the most comfortable ever. It's the best condo unit ever.
We have been renting C217 Kihei Akahi for several years now and enjoy it so much. The unit is easily accessible and always clean. Plenty of dishes and cook ware, bedding, linens and beach equipment. The owners have been improving the unit over the years with a new bed, bedroom furniture, taller toilet (for us seniors), new plank flooring and appliances. The ground level lanai is ideal for relaxing and for access to a car, restaurants, beach and shopping. The Kamaole beaches are some of the best on the island.
Overall, great location and property. It had everything we needed. We didn't visit anywhere in the resort outside the condo. The supplied beach items were great to have available, although we only used the chairs. The appliances need an upgrade, the stove had a broken knob, making a front burner unusable, fridge was extremely loud and ran a lot, dishwasher wasn't great, as a lot of the dishes in the cupboard had stuck on food. The washer and dryer were great though, we did a load of laundry, so that reduced our packing! The location was the best part, right across from the beach, restaurants nearby, and quick drive to all activities.

Great location! Beach 5 minute walk away, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Everything you need for a perfect beach day there for you, couple of chairs, umbrella, cooler.... perfect. Would love to go back again someday.
