Bed very comfortable, toss the pillows, they are bad.
Needs cosmetic upgrades, ie. Paint, drapes very dirty. Space is small, but comfortable.
Ice maker not working. Bought ice no big deal.
Needs TLC, a good cleaning would be nice.
Yes I will stay here again, yes I will tell friends and family to stay.

Location was the best part about this property, very close to the beach and right on the main road to get anywhere else. Very close to the grocery store and restaurants, parking was never an issue. Area was nice and quiet as well. However, this unit was a disappointing and the photos we’re mis-leading as to what we were walking in to:
1. Dishes needed to be washed before using, there was visible food left on every single dish, this is not an exaggeration
2. The mattress MUST be replaced, it is completely sunken in, uneven, and the springs are noticeably broken
3. Every single surface was dirty with significant stains: walls, doors, curtains, bedding, towels couch, pillows. We even tried to change the sheets on the bed, only to find the “clean” sheets were also dirty and had someone else’s hair in them
We are not very picky people but these seem like common care points that should be applied to a rental unit out of courtesy for those paying to stay. The space of the unit itself is very decent for two people and this likely would be a really great unit should some care be applied to it. Unless we knew some of these issues were taken care of, I would not recommend staying here given the price.
Would have liked a few more bath linens and bath cups when brushing teeth.
Kihei Bay Surf complex is clean, quiet and close but not to close to anything Maui has. Short stay, Great people there. Looking forward to the unit 245 rental to take bookings. That's a nice unit!
Stayed at the condo with a friend - it was the perfect size for us.. especially if you plan to spend most of your days out and about. Was supplied with everything we needed!
Every morning at 5am the Roosters would crow. They stay in the empty lot near the unit. They come out to the parking lot in front of the unit and crow. So this woke me up. I'm on vacation so don't want to be woken up at 5am. I emailed AA Oceanfront who manages the unit ahead of time to ask if unit quiet. They told me it was. I am communicating to them about this now and they are not getting back to me.
Overall experience was a disappointment. There was construction every morning outside the window around 8am; no courtesy calls to let us know which was a rude awakening. We also got kicked out of our room early for a fridge removal, in which we were forced to throw our groceries and belongings in garbage bags whilst a representive rudely stood in our room with no apology or customer service. I complained and they were quite understanding and refunded us 2 nights out of 8. Overall, the room was nice and so is the area but the customer service and help is dissatisfing.
As I was booking the apartment, I was interrupted and finished paying the next day. When I hit the back browser , I noticed, that the price had dropped over night by $20.
I asked them to adjust the price, but they refused, since I already payed !
The apartment is in a great location.
Although, the furniture is old and if you’d like to get some sleep, the aircondition will keep you from getting any. It is very loud and so is the neighbors.
The rooster, who is up at 3am every morning doesn’t help you with getting a good nights rest, either.
Unfortunately, I won’t be staying there, again .
Basic condo, but well suited to our needs. Great location
We found the unit very comfortable except the A/C did not cool down very well. When there was a breeze we could open all windows and feel comfortable. Quality of furnisings was average, not top quality. It was in rear of building so no ocean view but was quiet. Would stay again if we came to Maui.
